Ravens are uncommon in populated urban areas. If you see a "really big crow" in the city, the chances are good that it really is a crow and not a raven. Common ravens have a well-developed ruff of feathers on the throat, which are called 'hackles'. Ravens soar more than crows.  I shall now return to my mom's basement.

Vampira was a real pioneer. I'm glad you put this together for her. And how ironic it is that The Nightstalker is so close to her grave!

Vampira is our glamour ghoul Gothmother of all time! It’s too bad there’s not enough documentaries on her, thank you for making this video stay ghoul.🖤

It's so sad if she was found with her cat lying beside her. In the state they were in , say's she was lonely and few visitors came to visit very often. I think she would smile with your visit . So cool .

Hearing how she was found along with her deceased cat 😢made my burst out crying 😿
She was a big animal lover
😢

Maila also said in an interview that Orson Wells gave her a mad case of crabs. God, I love this woman.

Her dead cat lay next to her too... ??!!!  Bizarre how they both died at the same time..... very sad.....

I did not know about her connection with James Dean.
Absolute winner of a video today.
Grimm for Life!

She was friends with James Dean. He offered her to come with him to the car show he was headed to when he died she declined to go. She said in a interview that was in the bonus features of his movie “Giant” that she had a bad feeling about it.  I personally prefer her over Elvira. I believe she sued Elvira over her likeness but they ruled in Elvira’s favor.

Speaking of squeaky bats....I remember Bill Baird used a squeaky bat puppet in the Dark Shadows soap opera of the 1960s.That's the one where kids raced home from school to see it.

That grave of Chris Cornell hit me particularly hard and I want to say something. If you someone who is using drugs, understand that there is a reason why they want to push their feelings down that way. Don't get them involved with Doctors who will wrongly tell them it's a "disease" and give them dangerous drugs. Sit them down and simply ask the question, why. You'd be surprised how many people can be helped tremendously this way. Once they SEE why, they have a much better chance of stopping themselves.

The container her urn was put in before burial is called an urn vault. It's common when burying ashes.

Never  enough YouTube content on Vampira! 😄 Thank you for doing an episode on her.

This was an awesome video. Very interesting. Anyone who loves horror and creepy stuff is going to know Vampira. She was a gorgeous horror icon. I bet parents back then were afraid of her.

Lily Munster and Vampira have always been my faves. Mortica and Elvira are amazing as well, but, I guess it's just who I was familiar with first. Love the video! ✌️❤️🤘 Stay spooky!

Thank you so much for this <3 You two are so awesome and I enjoyed watching this and the Maila Nurmi 100th Birthday Celebration. Amazing!

Plan 9 beyond awesome and Johnny Depp portraying Ed wood was beyond awesome so good!

It makes me smile to see how much he loves Jessica.

I love how she just comes up from behind your shoulder and scampers away! So cute!

Thank you for showing those T.V. clips! I had no idea she was so funny!
She could make creepy funny. She was absolutely brilliant!
It's a shame she didn't make a comeback. We really missed out on something special!
