I use something homemade which has cured my rescue's constant vomiting and inflammation.  Our Vet in the UK said there was nothing more she could give him. I'm sure had leaky gut, but no more. I use fermented fruit peel juice. Fill an airtight kilner jar with citrus fruit peel & pith, ginger, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of salt, cover with filtered water.  Let the jar sit open for 3 days, stirring once a day. Day 4 to 7 seal the jar shut, then open and drain off the liquid into another container. Store in the fridge.  Give half a tablespoon twice a day with goat's milk or food. He's not been sick for months now and the inflammation from his Arthritis has reduced massively.  He's so much happier.

I give my dogs food I've cooked specifically for them. Mostly chicken, pressure cooked with carrots (sometimes sweet potato) and steamed broccoli. They also get ground beef and salmon pretty regularly. Sometimes I treat them with sardines - water packed and on occasion tuna. They get "tastes" of almost everything I eat.
They also get frozen blueberries, bone meal, "Green Rover" (suforaphane), and "Safe Sea" (Omega 3+) every day. Plus "Bifido For Rover" (probiotics) every other day.
Smooth, shiny, soft fur. No allergies. No itching, and lots of energy.
On side note concerning fleas and ticks. They get Cistus Incanus (dried leaf) every morning.
Occasionally I mix into their evening meal a little oil of oregano and grapefruit seed extract for their microbial effects.
They get food twice a day and I weight it. I also add approx. 7.5oz of water with every meal. They are both about 16-18 lbs so adding 15oz of water is pretty much all they need daily. They are very hydrated.
My back yard is chemical free. Ya lots of weeds, but its healthier for them and the honeybees like the dandelion and clover flower.

My dog no doubt has leaky gut. She is sensitive to EVERYTHING and cannot eat a single thing good for her. I’m overwhelmed and have no clue how to fix her.

Amazingly informative - so much there to digest. as is were ...

Excellent info. Thank you!!!!!

Thank you for the information

Dana you truly are so helpful with this video thank you so much for sharing this video

Hi thank you for your content. I use your products for my dog.
Long story short, we needed a tick prevention after my Lab had been eat up by big  ticks in May. The groomer suggested getting the pill from the vet veterinarian. Reluctantly I did and two months later all allergies caused her to have blisters between her toes and oozing sores. I then had to give her antibiotics and antifungal for over three weeks now. I’m not lazy, but I didn’t want my dog to suffer. She’s on warm raw food. We switched a turkey and liver only a month ago she gets nips of parsley and oregano leaves. I know I have damaged her gut, but she was sick and in pain. Now that she’s better what’s the first steps I should do. Before the antibiotic I was on yeast guard plus kit. I ordered a second one. I’ve talked to the store several times they are great people. Since you said we could message you I thought I’d go ahead and ask for your help. I’d be very grateful I’ve been using your products for years. I never wanted her to get sick. But I will have to do something different next year for the ticks. See I live on 80 acres and she’s a lively Lab and loves to run and jump through the grass chase rabbits and deer. I don’t know where I’d be without my dog. I wanna help her so bad thank you she’s six years old and weigh 62 pounds no vaccine since she was a puppy.
PS i’m looking forward to starting your meal mixer very soon

Can seizures be caused by gut problems in dogs?

Great video! I know you are the real deal because you don’t recommend commercial dog food 👏🏻

What about butter milk

I need help. Our pup has been in this sad state for some time and I believe her vet is too old school to help. If you are interested in a problem pup please contact me. She has sever allergies but have been put on antibiotic after antibiotic after steroid but I think she needs a holistic approach. Love your videos. Please keep it up.

Hi Ms Dana Scott!

I have received yesterday Four leaf rover Yeast Guard plus which has Gut Guard, Digest and Yeast guard alongwith Protect, Safe Sea and Turkey Tail mushrooms in Mumbai India.

My pup of 2 yrs 5 months is suspected  of EPI - Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency where gut gets affected and food intolerance is high. He was also having blood in his stool in May. All vitamins were low - B12, B9, D and he took injection for 6 weeks. Presently he is on a nerve supplement Nerve on and Pancreatin 8x started from July. This was all prescribed by myself as my vet had no understanding of the problem.
As recently diagnosed he is thriving on barley, oats, quinao, started now bottle gourd, egg n sometimes chicken. He is allergic to chicken so I had stopped in Feb this year but had to give him occasionally as he had become quite weak.

We are trying for a substitute meat -duck ot turkey.

Could you please advise dosage of the supplements and how many days to give plus anything we might have missed for our little baby🐶 .

Request you to Please provide your Four Leaf rover supplements in Amazon India so that we can buy easily.

Best regards

My dog, a 9 year old, lab adopted 6 months ago, has terrible gas, and both burps and farts and sometimes she has a big belly with all her gas. I keep an eye out for bloat. Otherwise she acts fine, very happy and playful. Could this be caused by leaky gut? Any suggestions?

Thank you for taking the time to provide this information. 🙏🏻  our 4 year old labradoodle has severe allergies and yeast. She sheds and itches terribly and her hair is course, lackluster and turning gray. We've been through the ringer with her and she's on prescription food. I'm currently working on her gut. I currently have her on vibactra+ , liquid tonekote from happy jack, and 4health prebiotic os of a week ago. I just want my girl to be healthy and safe. I love her so much. Any help and info you have is appreciated! Xxxxx

TYSM for all the important info you provide.  You mention that Gut Guard isn't for long term use.  How long do you recommend that it be used?  TY.

I sure hope I found this in time to save my 12 year old malamute wolf hybrid, I've been telling the vets for months something is wrong with him, and its nit his hip dysplasia, but they keep telling me that it is the hips, finally this past Tuesday February 06,2024 he had a really bad attack, I thought maybe pancreatic attack, but by the time I called Friday morning to get blood work they told me he was so dehydrated the blood wouldn't even flow out of him, he ended up having to go on fluids. I've got him on organika l'glutamine since this has happened, I also find that YL Essentialzyme has worked the best for him so far & occasionally he may get ACV in a veg gel capsule. I've heard clove oil would be good for healthy gut bacteria too, but going to read up on that more before I decide; ,thx for sharing, and anyone reading this please pray for Glacier; we sure need it

Is ghee good as a source of short chain fats?

Please tell me why it starts in the first place. Perhaps it's antibiotics that people give their dogs, worming medications, foods?
