Can we appreciate how out of all the weird things the Dub censors, they didnt censor a man having a heart attack in the middle of a duel. And even had an X-Ray action shot of his heart stopping...You confuse me Dub

My favorite part of this duel was Zane attempting to use his own heart attack as part of his dueling strategy. He planned to attack Yubel with lethal damage, forcing Yubel to leave Jesse's body, then spare Jesse by ending the duel mid attack WITH HIS OWN DEATH. It's only appropriate that he plays a machine deck, because that strategy is metal as fuck.

Yeah he died and lost but…the look and pure freak out in yubelies face when they go “16k ATTACK”!?! Is one of my favorites moments in this arc.

Very meaningful how the last monster he had on the field was Cyber End Dragon and not CyberDark Dragon. It shows he was trying to make amends for the shitty way he was behaving.

Thinking about how to avoid a "during your standby phase" effect only brings up a single result in my head. An old ass trap card called Solomon's Lawbook that simply reads "Skip your next standby phase". Had the card as a kid, never saw a single way to use it, and never managed to remove it from my memories.

My favorite part about dark Zane was when he threw his deck to the ground to summon chimeratech dragon. I can just imagine him picking up all the cards after the duel.

I love the fact that in his first duel against Judai, Johan says that his deck doesn't have any destructive cards because he doesn't believe in that style of dueling. But when he is posessed by Yubel, his strategy relies on sending his monsters to the GV so he can summon Dark Rainbow Dragon. God this season is amazing.

Zane is the reason I run cyber dragons IRL. Don't even care about bricking I just love how Zane played the archetype

This duels is still in the top 10 best duels in the franchise for me.

This is my favorite GX Duel, Zane was done so dirty by not having limiter removal instead of freaking Cybernetic Zone

Sam: "There is a next Season!"
4Kids: "Nope, not in the USA!"

"8 monsters and a 40 card deck, that's ridiculous"
(Laughs in eldlich)

"It's over, I win!"

"No. I lose." (Stops the lethal to die to his own card effect ten seconds later)

I'd love to see an analysis like this of Yugi's first duel with Rafael.  Could Yugi have won without playing the Seal of Orichalcos?

It’s unfortunate that Zane’s heart got the better of him but this is still one of the best duels of the season . Thanks TGS Anime and ask for why he didn’t set down Cybernetic Technology down on his first, it’s because…..for dramatic effect?

It's hilarious how Yubel mocks Kaiser for summoning 0 attack points monsters thinking Kaiser was just misplaying...coming from the 0 attack point monster themselves

Peak clownery

I love how in the dimension world Yubel opened  it introduced the whole dark world archetype, Armageddon archetype, skull knight, freed, maiden of aqua, chaos sorceror, guardian of the labyrinth, goblin elite attack force, kozaky and  sky scout all in one place.

If GX got a remake with current cards available, Zane would crush them all.

Imagine if Cyber End Dragon would have dropped a tear over Zane while it was disappearing...

Zane: Literally dying because of his poor heart
The community: why are you throwing tho?
