Our Thrifting day in Basingstoke was going so well until this happened!
Join us this week for a family day out thrifting around the Charity shops of Basingstoke in Hampshire UK. We have a lovely day out with the parents until an accident threatens to ruin the day. Can getting some good quality items save the day? Come along with us to see what we pick up and at the end of the video we will tell you what we have priced each item for and whether they will be going to one of the emporiums or be listed on ebay.

I really felt for Paul when he dropped the camera. I did exactly the same with a 2 week old mobile phone a few years ago. I had to try and hold the tears in until I got home. But when you work so hard to earn your money, it hurts when you have incidents like that. But you did really well with your pickups especially as it was a lovely day out for all of you even without that bonus. I absolutely loved the wicker, especially the corner unit. Your parents got a fabulous price on both those items and I do think you'll get full price for the corner unit as you don't see large ones like that often. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos - they always brighten my day :) x

Hi Paul & Marie, well that’s how my charity shopping goes when seems a lot of effort (especially in that hot weather) with not much to show for it but it’s lovely you enjoyed the time spent with your Ma and Pa. I’ve just watched Tom & Terrys video and you got another mention Marie when they found a wicker letter rack like your one xx

Lovely to see your parents Marie, shame you didn’t find more today…that’s the way it goes isn’t it!! We have ever sold a Rumtopf but we do see them all the time. Will be interested to see how it sells for you…it’s lovely one. Thanks for the mentions and so sorry about your camera 😢

Well that looked like a fab day out with your Ems Den The Movie Co Stars.... Some nice pieces, I thought the red German thing and the wicker heart could go together in an 'autumnal section' of one of the emporiums. The big wicker items at the end were great, very nice to receive. Still hot, but a bit fresher, take care.

love your videos but OMG my heart leapt, when you dropped the camera and then you were standing in front of a big blue sign I thought it was a hospital sign until I read it 🤣🤣, great that you get out with your parents my mum is 90 now and has mobility issues so doesn't come with me now as most shops round here you can't get the wheelchair in, Been watching a long while now and love how you have always had a laugh, keep up the good work

Hello Lovelies, Great video - it's so nice to see you out and about with your parents. Please make the most of it, and appreciate every moment because my dear dad died in March 💔
So sorry to hear that the camera is smashed to smithereens, as you said 'accidents do happen'. Thankfully the footage prior was still retrievable.
I did have a laugh though when the assistant thought Paul was a lady.😆
Honestly, you two make me smile/laugh on each video - 'don't show my washing my love...it's not that kind of show'😆🤣
All the best Angie xxx
