Prince was not only the most talented artist of his generation with a plethora of hits. He was also a man who could wear high heels, eyeliner, and a blouse and take any man's girl with no questions asked. The man was a legend and the world got a little darker when he passed away. Great video. Loved your reaction.
Prince didn't give a damn what anybody thought, he saw the wall and busted right through it. If you really want to be shocked, go listen to his song "Head", which was released I think 6 years before Kiss. Prince was one of the best to ever do it!
He had style, swag, extreme sex appeal, he checked all of the boxes of a mega superstar! And his live performances are legendary. His halftime superbowl performance 👏 probably greatest ever.
Honestly, to me MJ and Prince were on another level. We will never see two artists anywhere near their levels of talent. They were truly once in a lifetime talents we will never see the likes of again
Prince was a musical genius, and he SLAYED with the ladies! Only man who could steal your girl wearing a chiffon blouse and heels! Prince was Prince. He had his own lane. Day 1 icon. Prince/MJ/Madonna ran the 80s
I was a teenager in a hard rock band when Prince was on top. Only listened to heavy metal and hard rock. Except for Prince. The man was special. Imagine four long haired white boys rocking out to Prince lol. He's a legend.
This came out in 1986 when I was 14. My brother's best friend was a white kid, football captain, etc. He was obsessed with Prince. He even dragged us to see Under the Cherry Moon in the theater.
Honestly, people just accepted Prince the way he was and didn't react negatively to him at all. This was the era of Prince, Michael Jackson, George Michael, and Madonna, who were considered icons.
The Beautiful Ones is amazing along with so many others. The 80's were a very flamboyant time, everyone wore tons of makeup, loud clothes etc and no one thought a thing about his attire. He was just PRINCE!!
Prince from a musician standpoint is the most talented musician of all time. He played and mastered I believe 27 instruments. Kiss is one of my favorites but "Let's Go Crazy", "When Doves Cry", "Purple Rain", "1999", "Thunder", "Diamonds and Pearls" are some other favorites, not to mention he did the entire soundtrack to 1989s Tim Burtons Batman movie, which has some fantastic tracks on it. Him and Michael Jackson will forever be in a league of their own.
I went to high school with him. My choir director, who was a very accomplished music instructor, gave up her lunch hour to teach him music theory and vocal technique
