This video is a Speedrun of the game Toy Story 2.

Thoughts:
Had to go through a lot of pain & suffering to get this time. I couldn't keep a clean conscience without a 3X considering what happened in my 32m 47s.
This run has a bad beginning (5m 58s AN Split) and a major mistake in AaG 2 which cost 10s. Apart from that it's an amazing run mixed with the magic of great RNG.

Slinky: ”Can you get to the Pizza Planet Token, without jumping, or touching the green slime?”

Solarson: ”FU, Slinky! I’m gonna jump AND touch the green slime; and still win your challenge, before you can even lay out the rules 🙃.”

I'm not here to say anything about the speedrun because I think everyone here said it, no I'm here to say that 7/15 levels start with A, those being Andy's House, Andy's Neighborhood, Alleys and Guillies, Al's Toy Barn, Al's Space Land, Al's Penthouse and Airport Infiltration, that's all.

1:11 I feel like I was the only one who ever knew that tricky shortcut to the shelves. It’s cool to see someone else know it after how old this game is.

I watched a documentary about the speedrunning history of this game, glad you are the toprunner! Its so awesome to see a game from my childhood been beaten in less than half a hour lmao

This is actually insane, played this last time i think somewhere around 2002, you play like this is a totally different game. Levels above, keep it up G.

The prodigy who came from nowhere to challenge and be crowned among the greatest.

Forgot to comment on this, but this guy is the GOAT of Toy 2! Nobody is going to attempt Ultimate ATB, not even myself, riskiest fucking strat on the planet!

One of the favorite games growing up. I still play it casually. Love that there is a small speedrunning community for it. Amazing run man.

Kudos to you. I just beat this game for the first time, after first playing it as a kid around its release. I could never get to this efficiency level.

It's weird watching this since I played the N64 version

I liked the new strat in Al's Toy Barn. 👍

When it comes to speedrunning this game, the strats and techniques do seem to vary depending on the platform. I can think of quite a few different approaches that get used in certain parts of the game depending on the platform.

Oh, and fantastic run. 👍
