Still rocking a Vocaster Two for my podcasts - such a premium sound and so user friendly. FiFine k699d, Tank 1 and AM8 are my personal favs and top recommendation mics

This is the video I have been looking for! I bought the K669D in November 2024 for $30 and the Vocaster 2 in December 2025 for $70. Love them! I am still trying to figure out my enhancement. I think I have settled on warm with a pop filter per Mike Newman. I ran it clean until recently and aren’t sure I see a real difference. I keep considering an upgrade, but can’t see a justification.

Yes yes it is and i bet next years Christmas its gonna be cheaper i could have picked up a vocaster one for 44 dollars and that was without the bundle

The 669D is a really good budget mic that sounds great - the only thing i didn't like about it was I found it to have really bad bump rejection. You definitely need it in a shock mount to avoid that.

Vocaster Two + 2 x Samson Q2U (xlr cables included with the mic) is the best bang for the buck right now. :)

Nice video. I am gonna be totally real for just bit and put all the mic and interface desires aside. One could acquire a The Vocastser 2 and a K669D and it could absolutely be considered "End Game" in that as long as the K669D worked with their voice there would be NO NEED to ever upgrade. The audio portion of their content creation equation would be solved. Most viewers and/or listeners would be content with the quality. Furthermore most would not notice changes in audio quality unless it was downgraded. While this is mostly due to the compression and processing from social media sites like YT the previous statements will hold true. At least until those sites significantly change or modify their alterations. Listening to your own voice on the original unaltered source may reveal more significant differences to you. But make no mistake. This Vocaster 2 and K669D combo is more than good enough. Thanks for this video.

I should not have sold my Vocaster 1 kit. I got it on Sweetwater around Christmas for $50 when the kit was selling for over $200. I thought i could find a USB mic for quick recordings at my desk instead of my studio, but I find myself wanting to grab the Vocaster again and just pair it with the k669D. On sale for $49 right now.
