I love the passion these guys have for music in general, it shines trough their own music and I can relate so much to this passion. Music is just such a uniting force.

I was at the Toronto show recently, and it is easily one of the shows I've ever been to. But, my god I feel like I could talk to these guys for hours about music. The way their eyes just lit up when Craig asked about their influences and what music they grew up with. I'm the same age, have a German background, and grew up with a huge variety of similar genres. I'll never forget riding with my grandpa in his old Nissan SUV, blasting Udo Jürgens and Heino at what seemed like full volume (he was basically deaf). I absolutely loved getting a taste of my parents' music (Elvis, the Beatles, Queen, ABBA, Boney M), loved the 90s Euro-pop stuff as a kid - Aqua, Eiffel 65, Fun Factory, Venga Boys, A Touch of Class, pop in general like Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls...  but also quickly got into progressively heavier stuff like the Offspring, Sum 41, Blink 182, No Doubt, Rob Zombie, Static-X, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Slipknot, Mushroomhead, System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine, Rammstein, Metallica, Slayer, Dream Theater, Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Children of Bodom... and I'm just listing bands now.

Also: The stuff about just going to a music store and buying CDs... I so miss it. When I was in Tokyo recently, I went to the Tower Records in Shibuya ready to buy some J-rock/metal albums I've been wanting. I nearly cried when I walked in there. Just walking into an HMV, being surrounded by all this music, walking around deciding what to buy without even really knowing what you're getting was probably one of my favourite things to do as a kid.

An Electric Callboy/Lonely Island collab would be such an international powerhouse
