RIP Keith Flint gone but never forgotten 🙏

My mother once broke down in her car and happened to be outside Keith's house. He was in his garden doing some work, in a cardigan. He invited her in and made her tea, made sure she was okay until the recovery truck arrived. Truly a gentleman. She never realised who he was till months later.

Breathe needs to be next.

Went to a metal festival and Prodigy was there. They were the best and hardest act.

I hope Keith found the peace he was looking for, he was such a nice person.

RIP Keith Flint, a gentle soul.

Even us metalheads loved Prodigy!

Keith Flint was beautiful chaos on stage, and a wonderful human off stage. RIP Keith.

Saw prodigy when I was 14! Best concert ever.

Anne Dudley was one of the producers of this album and song. She was a member of a group called "The Art of Noise" in the 80s. They released a song called "Close to the Edit" that featured a girl's voice saying "hey hey hey" and that's where that particular vocal track originates.

So pumped you're finally checking out The Prodigy! Breathe, Smack My B!tch Up, Omen, Out of Space, Voodoo People (Pendulum remix) and Warriors Dance are musts!

RIP Keith Flint 😢🙏

They sounded futuristic in the 90s, and they still do. So far ahead of their time.

Fire starter is a reference to the singer usually being a dancer for the band - the hype man. His task as a dancer was to get the audience fired up. If I recall, his look grew out of his view of his role being the clown. RIP Keith Flint. The Prodigy has lots of sampling and use different vocalists. They have some bangers.

This made such a huge impression, the sheer energy coming from it.

I was a junior in college when this song came out, I was a dj for the college radio station for an activity credit and we played alternative rock.  We played this and also another song they did called Breathe.  I freakin loved this track LOL.  My mom thought I was nuts.

Fat of the land was such a killer album

He was the sweetest kindest person. I wish he was still here 😢

late 90's electronic music is a huge rabbithole

I can't wait until BP figures out the 'secret sauce' behind HOW The Prodigy actually produced their music :D It'll blow his mind, when he finds out..

This has been featured in several major movie soundtracks, typically chosen by directors to elevate high-octane action scenes, gritty suspense, or nostalgic 1990s settings. It was also used in video games.
