Apart from the final few frames, the sound and video quality of this match is poor, so apologies for that. I tried editing it with various noise removal filters in Audacity but they didn't work well with the click of the snooker balls, so I left it as is.

O Higgins deu o jogo para o Ronnie embrulhado num papel de presente, com um cartão mandando beijos 💋

Esse é o jogo de quem erra menos e o nível dos jogadores é tão alto que raramente ele erram e quando erra, perde o jogo.

Two of the greatest players in the history of the game at the start of 2 incredible careers. O'Sullivan when on form plays a different game to anyone and in Higgins you have tbe most complete player ever

Probably one of the matches that made John Higgins. He would have learned so much from this loss

Clash of the new titans here, Higgins was pure class, but Ronnie was even then, raw, but superb

Weird how depressed they BOTH seemed afterwards lol. Guess the match really took it out of them. Still, what a great match! Ty :)

Hello MJT and once again many thanks for showing another brilliant match. I remember at the time watching the final session where young Higgins should have won and eventually lost. Are you able to put the Jimmy White against Alex Higgins semi-final from 1982?
