Thanks for the link. I have tons of RBI classic years but didn't have 1908 for some reason. Tinker to Evers to Chance.

Sorry Im late to the party just wanted to share how much im enjoying your videos on both the baseball and american football channels. Im from the UK and as a kid i got into the NFL after seeing a 2 page spread review of Madden 93 in a gaming mag. Playing the game taught me how the game worked ive been a fan ever since. Picked up a copy of RBI 94 the following year and got into baseball. Watching this video and learning little bits about baseball history and stuff is amazing for a guy in the UK who is learning from afar. Great content i watch it all. All these rom hacks are a God send with modern sports gaming the way it is. I just love playing it all, tinkering and learning about it. Thanks! 😊

Thanks for the foot traffic. While not exactly a Heritage Collection ROM, I am (between other projects) working on a ROM based on the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Somebody mentioned it in the comments: If I remember correctly, I did give the pitchers a 50% endurance boost. Because of the lack of speed, I do plan on giving future pitchers in the deadball more "junky" pitches.

I could watch these all day. I love this game. I saw that site had 1984 and 1977. Heck, 1961 would probably have the Yankees. Thanks for posting these.

LOVE ALL RBI roms. Wish someone would add the dive and jump options
like the Famista games!!!

Just "liked and subscribed". I'm thinking you appeared in my feed due to my penchant for retro gaming emulation and love of baseball trivia that not a single person I know in my daily interactions gives a wink about. Before the 5 minute mark I had to pause and send it on to both my brother and a friend who are also baseball history fans.  Especially our Tigers. Thanks for the fun video and "Hello" from Midland, MI!  I'm certainly going to try out some of these roms and maybe coax them into giving them a go as well if not just for the kooky nostalgia for a bit.

Still have my copy I got when I was in 3rd grade. No modding for me, just on my old NES. I remember picking it out, but it was a little more expensive than what I had and picked out another game. Got home and this was the one in the bag.

Awesome video! I knew nothing about the 1908 season nor the deadball era of the game.

Thanks for the link. I downloaded some of the games thank you. A few years ago I had a retropie and had purchased a loaded SD card and it had alot of rom hacks impressive rbi and tecmo bowl hacks. There was a rbi with the 2005 white sox and a old usfl version of tecmo bowl even an arena football tecmo bowl. I lost it unfortunately. Great stuff man!

The other teams were hoping that you’d have Henry Mathewson pitching instead of Christy

Far more advanced than the one I played as a kid, the first Atari one on a black and white TV

RBI 3 was goated

I think some did a text-only game called Old Hoss 1K84. RBI 1884 would be cool!

Just finished the Three Fingers Brown biography

Thanks for the video!  Very fun concept! I'd love to play a 1908 MOD of LJN's MLB on NES.  I think MLB was superior to RBI.

Holy crap Abraham Lincoln!

AN RBI baseball video? in this economy? shit.

I used to play this competitively on the old ass dee nee forums.

I love RBI especially 2 player, but playing solo the infielder and outfielder AI is awful and drives me crazy

Streaming?

dude, baseball stars.. I'll show you the cheat (I don't think any one else knows it)
