10:24 that’s longhorse! It’s a good entity but it’s said to warn you from very dangerous situations coming. It is hella creepy but it wants the best for you. :)
edited part: IVE NEVER HAD SO MANY LIKES ON A COMMENT THANK YOU 😢

The growling man hiding behind a tree is like the horror equivalent of a dog "hiding" behind a curtain thinking you can't see.

I’ve never seen someone try to help a wandering trader, everyone I’ve seen just absolutely obliterate the dudes on sight.

The first monster I do believe is a Jötunn, it's a Norse entity and from what I can find research on has nothing to do with Appalachian mythology. It's the same creature in the ritual, and while it may not belong it was still cool to see it.

I no longer live in North Carolina but actually lived about two hours from the mountains and my sister used to go to APP state. There’s always been some scary things Ive heard about the mountains and it’s not a place I’ll ever live in. I’m enjoying life in South Korea at the moment.

I remember when you had like just 3k subs a month orso ago. This channels' growth is crazy, but so valid.

Hey man, thank you
Was struggling a bit with family stuff and this video is helping me calm down, again thank you ^^

Also, i'm only 13 mins in so maybe you figured it out, but the guy attacking the mobs at your first night (here 10:21), his name is Long Horse. he's from the Trevor Henderson universe and is basically one of the very few 'good guys', in Trevor's lore, he basically is an omen that tells you something bad is going to happen soon and is also just a general gaurdian that wants to protect humans
So don't be too scared of him, he's just a little guy
