Instead of having to store the glass from the frame, just put it in the frame behind the picture. The picture will be snug in the frame and the back will close more securely…..just a tip. Nice flips👍👍

Those prices are retail price. Shame on you, Goodwill!

A secret. If you find a stained lamp shade, you can use a damp tea bag blotted evenly to hide stains & looks intentional! ❤️

Love how you turned the photo into looking like art

A tip I learned, You can put the lampshade in the dishwasher by itself on the rinse cycle & it should come clean.

I've had lots of success cleaning lampshades with dish soap and a vegetable brush. I wash them in my kitchen sink and use the sprayer to rinse them.

One idea for the stained lamp shade is to cover the shade with a pretty fabric and leave the linen edges. Just a little fabric glue on the edges and a tiny little in the center.

I received the Leaves of Gold book as a gift from the office staff in high school. I worked in the office during study halls all four years. I cherish that book.

I too like the thrift and DIY. I take the lamp shade to the kitchen sink and wash them with a bit of dawn power wash and and a nail brush to clean them well. Then rinse and put somewhere to .dry.😊

Have you all noticed the Chinese are making some fanastic lamps?

The decoupage on the picture is such an amazing, do I call it a hack? It’s such a brilliant idea. I’m going to try it

Your charity shops are so good and great prices hear in England the charity shops have gotten so Expensive if they keep putting their prices up people won't go to the charity shops thay get the stuff given to them so they should keep prices low so people can afford to shop their loved your video Carol in England 😮

I recently went to Goodwill and they had a set of clay Pots from Walmart. They were priced a dollar more than brand new at Walmart! I brought it over to an Employee and showed them the picture on the Walmart site!

You could've used rub n buff to change the silver to gold on the canisters, too.

Have you ever tried painting a lampshade? You could try that if the stain will not come out. I have seen Jami Ray vintage do that on their channel. If it was me I would still keep it a taupe or linen color.
