Eagerly awaiting some cooler weather to stick in NW PA. I have all the wood for the winter stacked and ready to go, just need some days where it’s in the low 50s or even lower for the high!
I remember back around 2008 gas prices were high, every time a hurricane went through the gulf gas prices would up go up nation wide as they claimed the storms disrupted the oil rigs out there. Now hurricanes don't seem to affect anything with oil prices. Figured we were getting gouged back then.
These months are the same across Southeast Missouri dry and hardly a pittance of rain. Will this be the main theme going into 2027? Cannot get a break from this constant dry, dry, dry. Rain to the north now south and really nothing for my region. Frankly it is getting annoying. But we are guaranteed heat or cold but precipitation is a crap shoot. All these models show dry constantly.
Ugh, was hoping beyond hope we would get some of the rain from Isaias here in the eastern panhandle of WV, but each model run points to the moisture becoming less and less. My hunch is come Sunday, we will recieve little to no rain. This on top of an already long stretch of zero rainfall (18 days straight) and no rain in sight after the slim chance this weekend. So, back into deep drought we go.
