Thanks for watching today's video. Need to get these issues I've had out there, hopefully we can get some fixes.

WWE 2K26 : The Grind Never Stops.

6:36 Is Dave Meltzer grading the MyRise matches 😭💀

I know most people here are talking about gameplay issues, but I wanted to share something from a different perspective. I’m blind, and a lot of the problems with WWE 2K hit even harder for me because I can’t really navigate most of the game on my own.

There’s no screen reader or anything that reads what’s on screen, so once you get into deeper modes like Universe or MyGM, it becomes almost impossible to use without help. Even things like setting up matches or going through character select can get really difficult depending on how detailed the menus are. I end up relying on memorization or someone else, and that only goes so far before I hit a wall.

What really sucks is that I genuinely love these games. The freedom, the customization, all the different ways you can set things up—that’s what pulled me in. I hear people talk about how fun Universe mode is or how deep MyGM is, and I’ve never actually been able to experience those modes for myself. I’m a customizer at heart, and that whole side of the game is basically out of reach for me.

I know I’m in the minority and most people probably won’t think about this, but I just want to be able to play the game like everyone else without needing help. Even something as simple as a narrator for the menus—just reading whatever option is highlighted, wrestler names, settings, things like that—would make a huge difference. It could easily be something you can turn on or off, so it wouldn’t affect anyone who doesn’t need it, but for blind players it would make the game actually playable.

I actually put out a thread about this on my X account (@Landonisblind) if anyone’s willing to check it out or help boost it. I know it’s a long shot, but it would really mean a lot.

I have cerebral palsy and physically cannot perform button-mashing mechanics.
The “hold input” accessibility option is disabled in online/MyFaction modes, which makes certain challenges impossible for me to complete.

This creates a barrier to playing content I paid for.

I’m asking that accessibility settings like “hold instead of mash” be enabled in all modes, including online.

I agree MyRise is a massive step down compared to last year and the Rise matches being mandatory this time just dragged it out and made it worse.

My main issues with the core gameplay are the changes to stamina and how much the CPU reversed, why is the 30 overall dummy I create every year to test out characters reversing so much?

Community creations servers disconnect absolutely constantly

The Last Time I Genuinely like MyRise was way back in WWE 2K19 with Buzz, the story from start to finish was so satisfying and compelling, wish they had those types of story of MyRise where you can be fully invested with your Main Character

I feel ya frustration Matt to grindy this year I miss the accelerator and the aggressive microtransactions is very nasty this year the game is like $200 here in Canada and it feels like I get nothing for your buck

That ringside pass was the biggest trolling ever (for folks like me who bought the Monday Night War Edition) and we're not even in April! (April's fools  yaddda mean?! 🤣)

the 28 myrise characters remind me of WCW Nitro on ps1, all the game developers as playable characters and the animals like Ivan The Bear lmao

I love using my rise characters as minions for my heel CAW in universe

I feel like the addition of so many matches for my rise was to help people gain xp for the ringside pass but I agree when I’m playing a story mode I want to continue on with the story and let the matches be optional not forced

My divisions in universe mode doesn't retain anything I do.  Super damn irritating

22:15 Can only respect the opinions expressed in the video but i can't wrap my mind around buying a fighting game and every cover character is locked behind grinding

When Punk being in MyRise was brought up, it got me thinking "Oh, yeah, why wasn't Retro / ROH Punk in Showcase?!" because what better time is there for that to be a Showcase unlockable? It's just like what they did when they had Bryan Danielson as a Showcase unlockable in his Showcase mode a while back.

Of course I never pray on anyone's downfall. I've been playing since HCTP. When it comes to games like this, pull the team that have had the same ideas for years. Hire a whole new team, new ideas and fresh minds can go a long way.

I know it's not related but look at ESO, they replaced the lead developer (I believe some of the team too) with someone that listens to the playerbase and takes their playerbase seriously.

I’ve just been noticing with watching matches in universe mode that the wrestlers would spam their Ai sequences even tho they’re set to do that sequence once during the match but end up spamming it over and over again 😵‍💫
