This is so wholesome. Am I balling my eyes out at 2 am for 2 fictional gay men who finally found love they deserved, ABSOLUTELY. Such amazing shows are what life is about, how so ever chessy and corny this show might be its always those little scenes that make me smile and have that tingling feeling, my gawddd. Great show BEYOND THE WORLD ACTING AND DIRECTION 🙌😭

There intimacy coach needs a reward as well as these two actors. Outstanding

Everyone thinks Rosenov is the ultimate a$$hole but he actually is the most sensitive, passionate, and loving of the characters.

When Iliya softly says "She would have loved you." I just burst out crying. I so miss my parents - RIP. And I wish they had a chance to meet the boy I adopted.

This is coming from a straight woman. When I think about what makes this series so well recieved and so successful, it is because of so many elements. Yes it’s passionate but it’s far beyond just passion. There is tenderness, open communication, emotion, sensitivity, vulnerability, heartbreak, love, tension, yearning, jealousy, awakening, making amends and taking risks. There is also consent which is also really important. It’s also about being true to who you are- regardless of the consequences and therefore “living your truth.” When we think about art and talking about how art matters, there is no better example than Heated Rivalry. This is art and this matters.

When Ilya says “I love you” in Russian and then translates to English… my heart just melted (like a tuna melt? Lmao) and then Shane goes “I love you too…God, I love you so much.” aaaa

I was completely blown away by this drama...with all the hype I was a wee bit skeptical, but I honestly think this is one of the most compelling love stories I've ever seen ❤ The two actors are crazy talented and I hope they go on to have fantastic and fulfilling careers. I have a feeling this will be one of my favourite comfort watches forever!!!

In some 8 years some twelve year old will stumble upon this video and their world will change. And so the cycle continues! Take me back to watching gay show compilations in middle school. What a time to be alive

I'm so glad the other player kissed his boyfriend in public and changed their fate as well ❤❤❤

Think about progress from Brokeback Mountain to Heated Rivalry. So bad and sad Heath Ledger can't even see it. Jack and Ennis has to have theirs mountain, then Ilya and Shane could have the cottage. All of this is like a legacy BM ❤
