Crazy people unite

Much respect to "Mr Embassy"!  We need more people like Mr Embassy in our US government!  This has cleared up what I can and cannot expect from the US Embassy when I am in the Philippines and I thank him and you for this!  Good on you guys!  All the best!

Wow! Very impressive. The head of the US Embassy over all of the Philippine . I give this guy a lot of credit for reaching out in this way, contacting you to do so does not surprise me. You are one of the most reputable and down to earth vloggers in the Philippines. Thanks! This was all great information.

Even though I'm not a foreigner living in the Philippines, knowing how things work currently - at least in theory - for American expats is very interesting information. It means carrying a US passport has its perks.

Excellent job Paul...congrats on being recognized as a true contributor to the needs of Expats..Also congrats on your recent nuptials...Mike and Arlyn

Wow!, Paul, I can't think of a better, more trustworthy individual than you to have as a contact. Great choice on the Embassies part. Amazing how the cream always rises to the top. Congrats!

Paul, I've got to tell you about my experience with the US Embassy in Manila Philippines in 2019. I could not even get past the Filipino guard outside next to the retaining wall. I was very surprised as a US citizen I was not welcome into my US Embassy without an appointment! I asked the guard very politely if I had no phone, lost passport, and no access to my money, how could I go in and get help from my US Embassy. He said you have to make an appointment, I was appalled and extremely upset with our government run US Embassy. US Embassies were built and operated to be an ambassador to the foreign country, are considered US soil within the US Embassy grounds, and were used as a sovereign place for US citizens who were in need of assistance. Please pass this on to the person so this will never happen to anyone again. This should never be allowed to happen to a US citizen!

We hereby christen you as The Dogfather! 👑

Thank you Paul for this excellent information. What an honor that they chose you to relay it to us. It definitely speaks volumes about your character. 👍

It is refreshing to know that there is a refuge for US citizen in trouble while in Asian countries. Great job, Paul.

That was so nice for the embassy gentlemen sharing his time and this important information with you.  Thank you as well for getting this information to the masses!

As simple as a speeding ticket is some of the stuff I have read and then looking at the pictures of the prisons oh my gosh, it’s hell on earth

Told u ur doing something right and here's proof! Old dog helping by way of his channel! Well done old dog, Paul!

Reekey did a lot to help other Americans ,either planning on moving to the Philippines or who are already in the Philippines. But you have taken this to another level. You are now the MAN in the Dumaguete area. You will be a great help to other Americans living in the Philippines because of your YOUTUBE Channel and your Embassy contact. Knowledge  is power and you are giving other Americans another source of information. I hope you will chronical the process of doing Mae"s paperwork as you bring her to the USA.

Paul:

It is a great honor to be selected as a trustworthy assistant to the Embassy. Congratulations!

Great video and very informative even for people not of the USA. It is quite possible and very probable that many other countries like Canada and Australia work in similar ways as the USA in regard to the topics you discussed.

Now that was extremely impressive!!! You should be proud Paul and the men from the embassy thanked for putting a system in place. Hoping all works as planned.  A big thanks for the information you provide!!!

Thank you to the embassy for reaching out. That is a decent gesture. I hope it helps someone when it counts. There was an excellent American blogger there who died a couple years ago. Mike Cason. I wish he could have benefited from embassy help. (Giving him timely information on where to get good heart surgery or similar assistance) might have  saved his life. His life was worth saving, too.

He did not want to leave the Philippines to go back home, partly because he was not well off, financially. He had a practical work experience with various charities before he arrived, and also did real charity work and gave of his time and talents to help poor Philippines citizens in slums. He also volunteered with a cleft palette surgery organization.

Mike was the opposite of the "ugly American". If anyone had told him the embassy might have been able to help him or if he had been visited by staff, his outcome might have been changed. I think he needed a heart transplant, which may have gotten him care back in the U.S., or someone to cut through the red tape and get him the best treatment. I knew of no better ambassador who deserved it more than him.

EXCELLANT VIDEO..... very informative and a credit to the official who is showing his commitment and integrity to his position to be there when and if needed.........

This is great information to know. Personally I feel better about moving to the Philippines having this info

its good that they contacted you to get the message out:)
