Very good method for briolet wrapping. I have always struggled with the smaller wire wrapping around that longer wire and then covering it with more wraps. This way is easier and looks so much nicer (for me!). Suppose the other method may be more secure inn the long run though?

Hi,The gauge wire will depend on the size of the hole in your bead. I used a bead that accomodated a 22 gauge wire so that it would come across on video. It is good to have a range of 22-26 gauge wire on hand if you are using a variety of stones. 22-24 is good for semiprecious to A quality gemstones.  26-28 works for fine gemstones, 24 gauge is good for glass and at the smallest a 6/0 seed bead, and metal beads are variable.
