I am rewatching “Midnight Run” tonight in honour of Charles Grodin.
He was amazing in this movie.
Rest In Peace.

The old guy next to Charles Grodin was my Uncle, Bill Fritz. He answered a local casting call for extras... Sadly he passed away about 10 years ago.

"six feet tall?   six five!  dark brown hair.    light colored.    that's our man."    those lines crack me up every time!

Robert De Niro, Charles Grodin and Yaphet Kotto, the three actors with the honour of introducing themselves as "Alonzo Mosley, FBI".

It always bummed me out that they lose so many of their groceries after that brilliant con 🙈

lol omg Grodin's performance here is legendary..

Grodin’s final suspicious glance at the old guy before they walk away is subtle comic brilliance 😂

Grodin: Are you doing the litmus configuration?
DeNiro: Litmus configumeration

The best dead pan ever.  Saw it in the theater 1987'is, this scene made me lol!!!  To this day.  Thank you Charles!!!!

"you get em' all the time!"  Love it. Charles Grodin was so good in this.

This is in the pantheon of perfect comedic scenes.

This one, & the scene where DeNiro is in the phone booth saying he's gonna throw Grodin in the river - but gives him an "I don't mean it" look, are my 2 favorite scenes. Rest in Peace Charles Grodin. Loved your acting & how late night hosts interviewed you !

RIP Charles Grodin 🙏😢😪💔

Genuinely one of the funniest scenes in all of cinema history. I am crying laughing right now.

'litmus configururation' - Robert De Niro

RIP the great Charles Grodin.  His dry sense of humor will be missed.

The sheer awesomeness of this scene cannot be quantified in human terms. Thanks for posting

Isn't this the best scene ever!

Grodin just kills this scene.  How could it be done better??

The dialogue in this film is so solid. I laugh every time.
