The Autumn Gales in its second decade of being the premier rough water event on the East Coast and is held in one of the few areas in the U.S. that has tidal currents worthy of holding British Canoeing's Advance Sea Kayak Leader Training.  Fisher's Island Sound is an amazing location and this event strives to create unique experiences to learn and gain experience with rough water paddling.
