XG is a JAPANESE XPOP GROUP.  Their office headquarters use to be in S.KOREA but now they are located in their home country JAPAN 🇯🇵.  They are uniquely ELITE.  Every member has a different delivery.   I  L🫶🏽VE  their choreography, their vocals and rap line is top level.  Yes, their MV’s are versatile but STUNNING.   They deserve more support but they will be TOURING in many COUNTRIES and coming to the UNITED STATES 🇺🇸 this SUMMER.  Thank you for reacting to Xtraordinary Genes 🧬.   🐺🌿🌸 AWHOOOH

They're Japanese not South Koreans

I don't think they're flexing. These girls intentionally have lyrics in other songs that demonstrate how grateful they are for the success they've had after years of training and work. They're literally working 27 hour days, and Chisa's part is expressing the requirements of their crazy schedules. Woke Up is literally a song addressing their haters that don't understand any of it.

XG is not talking about “flexing” in the way your are describing, Chisa is talking about waking up and rolling out the way she is, fixing her makeup and hair on the way to the next stop, they do travel in planes but she wasn’t talking about owning the plane but getting off the plane into her car and getting ready on the way to the next show

Undefeated was made for a video game called Valorant.

XG is a seven-member group where every member can not only sing, rap and dance, but all of them can also fluently sing and/or rap in English, Japanese and Korean. As a Japanese group they've also been the first for major milestones. The first ones in history to be a headliner at Coachella 2025, the first Japanese idol group to enter the Billboard 200 at number 93 with their first full album The Core in 2026, the first Japanese artist to perform on the season finale of The Voice US in 2025, the first Japanese group to be on the cover of Billboard US magazine in 2023 and the first Japanese group to enter the US Mediabase Radio Top 40 in 2023. XG also sold over 400,000 tickets worldwide for their first world tour, which was 47 shows in 18 countries across 5 continents and lasted for a whole year. Right now they're on their first leg of their second world tour where they're doing 15 shows in Japan and have already sold close to 175,000 tickets. With plans of them then doing shows in other Asian countries, before going to do shows in Europe, North and South America and Australia.

If you like 90s old school Hip-Hop, they have a song PS118. This is a throwback song to that era both the music video and the beat. There are 2 different versions of this song. One version is the solo debut of their leader Jurin Asaya featuring a veteran underrated female rapper Rapsody. The other version has 4 of 7 XG members rapping. This song is just them going back and forth with their bars without chorus. Check it out. 😃

XG stands for "Xtraordinary Genes" comprised of 7 members from Japan. They are exceptional rappers, singers, and dancers. They are considered "X-pop" since they dive into many different genres such as R&B, rap, pop, house, edm and all their titled tracks are in English. Their lore is that they are alien "Galactic Wolves" traveling the galaxy conquering planets. The fandom is called ALPHAZ and we're part of the collective wolf pack. 🐺🐺🐺🐺ALPHAZ ON DECK!🐺🐺🐺🐺

These girls need to play the super half time show at some point. Their live performances are a crazy spectacle.

XG are Japanese

Undefeated is actually a collab with Riot Games for the promotion of their 1st  person shooter Valorant and it will grow on you! Like you said ....listen to it 2 or 3 more times...it will hook you!

This was mostly their hip hop/rap songs. However XG is a group that can do basically every music genre and they also specialize in rnb. Plus they've done pop, punk rock, UK garage, house, dance, runway/vogue and disco. This has made them a group that is beloved by a lot of names in kpop but also outside of it. From kpop names like LISA of Blackpink, Twice, Girls Generation, Aespa, NCT, Le Sserafim, The Boyz, Jackson Wang of GOT7, Red Velvet, Ive, Itzy, Treasure and Babymonster to artists like Armani White, Hana, Charlie Puth, Babymetal, Ciara, No Na, Katseye, Erykah Badu, Rapsody, Girlset, Kehlani, and PinkPantheress. XG has also gotten shout-outs from JID, Cordea and Chili from TLC for doing covers of their songs or rapping over their beat

Starting with hesonoo and x-gene is wild. 🐺

Hesonoo is a masterpiece and the starting of X-GENE always gives me goosebumps

I understand your surprise. XG had me having an existential crisis when i first  found them.
I like to think i'm pretty knowledgeable about music but XG flew under my radar. I found them by accident.

The music video to the dancing, to singing, to rapping, to everything from costume and etc, they do it all. Only pop-group I really invested in. Seen them live and they hit hard, they really do it live!

Man, you might as well do the whole XG deep dive! Start with Tippy Toes, Mascara, Shooting Star, Left-Right, Puppet Show, and TGIF.

LESSS GOOO XG

You got me on "they're flexing" and "woke up is too poppy" when legit Hiphop reactors & artists gave XG their flowers for that very same song. Even got them an award for that one. But well maybe to each of its own then. Thought we got a new Alphaz in the making.
