Oh no, I smashed the display on a Sony HDCAM-SR SRW-5500. I was so upset about that. But it turns out that the display is a Sharp model LQ64D344 R and it's relatively easy to obtain. With no service manual for this machine, can I install it and get it all working?

This deck must have been one of the last decks Sony made before everything went solid state. I know that in the early 2000's we still used DigiBetas (for UK terrestrial TV), but when I left there were active discussions to start bringing media in on hard drives and editing on Final Cut.
