As a fellow lover of Lonesome Dove (I'll admit to reading it more than once), seeing the cattle drive through town would be so cool to see!

Welcome!! Just in time for the great State Fair of Texas!

My top dopamine fix woukd definitely be a local library used book store (inside the library) or a library's annual/semi annual used book sale to raise funds to support the library. It's always a fun treasure hunt and great finds to be had! I do love a good used book store and Half Price Books is always a top spot. They do it well. A local indy used book store is even better! 😊

You were so close to Billy Bob’s you should’ve gone inside

You can't go wrong with the BBQ and TexMex there. That is a cool bookstore.

Your DFW peeps are so glad you’re here!!! Loved your tour of Irving, Ft. Worth, and Dallas!

Cowtown...my hometown! Welcome to Fort Worth, Tony!

Welcome to my home town of Fort Worth! Come again!:)

That church coffee shop looked super nice! And those longhorns! 😮Wow.. So cool to see all those Texas sights. Thanks so much for sharing. ☺️ As for the bookstore: Dan would need to drop me off and come back the next day! 😂

You're in my area Tony..i live in the Ft Worth area and love the Stockyards...
Welcome to Texas .. watch out for Crazy Drivers!!

Lots of rain through Saturday

It’s always fun seeing the Florida creators I follow come to my neck of the woods!

You should visit Joe T Garcia’s restaurant near the stockyards. Great weather for dinner in the gardens!

Great to have you here! And you should check out the Gondola Cruises on Lake Caroline—it’s right there. :)

I hope your able to return to North Texas for a couple of weeks.  There's so much here to see and do here.

I was born near Dallas on a now decommissioned Army Base- Ft. Wolters. They do abandoned building tours of Beach Army Hospital if you need something interesting to do!

If you go to Ft.Worth again, downtown Sundance Square area is great !

Oh wow, welcome to DFW! We're about 45 mins south of you.
Thanks for the tour - I've lived here for 20+ years but still didn't know part of the Stockyards area is actually called the stock exchange!
Half Price Books HQ store is a wonderful, but dangerous place, and I'm glad it's not closer to me. 🤣Anyway, I hope you have a great conference!

If you are craving some great TX BBQ,  check out Cattleack Barbeque in Dallas or when you get here to the Houston area, CorkScrew BBQ in Spring, TX. You may have to wait in line, so check how busy they are before going.

Welcome to town, Tony… wish we’d known you were coming; we’d have bought you lunch at one of the local BBQ spots. Enjoy your stay!
