this progression loop hits different, especially the way you get stronger after each run. reminded me of iron frontier, looks like it could be perfect for that same chill strategy vibe without heavy micro.

Cub and chain lightning go together like ham and cheese.

Idle: "Huh, Arrows consistently did most damage for atleast 6 stages... Let's don't upgrade them!"

Tomb, rhymes with room, is what's on the screen. Tome, rhymes with Rome, is a book x

I've been anticipating this game since you last played the demo

So, something i feel like you missed with the runes, is that the upgrade cost is based on how many upgrades you've already done to that rune, NOT the level of the rune. So if you had a rune upgraded to level 17 that did cursor damage, and you pulled a level 17 rune that did similar amounts of cursor damage. It would be worth swapping to the new rune, because you could upgrade the new rune further, for cheaper cost.

So an easy to see feedback seems to be to make the screen equal, distant for all four sectors top bottom right side and left side

32:05 Incase people wanted a dose of chain lightning for today

I hope there’s a Lightning ability!😋

ur video gimme chill, makes me sleep faster, Thanks!🙌

the jump from 1 to 1.75 is actually larger than from 1.75 to 3 (that's like a 1.70ish jump)

Blacksmith certified OP. They should have cap’d it at 5 or even 10. Or make the mines harder to kill so you have to make a choice to finish killing the mine or attack enemies. But the way it is kinda ruins the game and makes other damage doers negligible.

Gotta say the endgame turning into rune-gamba felt disappointing. If that was the devs intention they could have at least made runes with the same effect have the same appearance…
As it’s so skill tree based though it just feels like a weird angle to end with. Like would have been much more sensible to just have really satisfying upgrades in the skill tree to top out.

Me: Let’s watch a chill cub video while we fall asleep. That always works to help us relax.

My fight or flight response: we’re about to be killed and eaten! Quickly, put all of our tension in our shoulders!

This game has a weird way to balance itself, when blacksmith became to powerful they just made it permanent, when the Queen’s blessing legendary was too powerful they just made it permanent. Some areas were straight up blitzed through while others took a while. The dev spent too much time making things priced at “67” constantly to make his game make any sense. The strangest part of Queen’s blessing was how the arrows was the only one to have a side effect -10% income, which is a ineffective disadvantage in game design, it would make sense if this curse was on any other category, but it would make even more sense if this applied to any other legendary.

Also the nova blast failed like 20% of the time and “first time completion rewards” followed no pattern with it working for some levels and not for others. Also the end game is so strange with runes, it was a cool idea but gambling your Stats constantly where you upgrade to level 20 and get a random bonus is clearly used to cheaply make the game infinitely scalable, it would make sense that each rune follows the same category ( e.g freeze duration and freeze chance), also the buildings becomes quickly useless in the late game unless you use mud, everything else doesn’t scale with increasing health and number of enemies.

From the demo this game looked cool, and when more weapon types were introduced i quickly found it more exciting, however since most of these weapons couldn’t scale unless you used the blessings or Runes, they couldn’t perform to a suitable level to be used effectively the further you went on unless you went all in.

First time I've been here in under a minute. Love ya content Cub but be sure to look after yaself too mate 💜
