Something is there.  Most friends would consider their parents or siblings.  He just went over their heads and made Buck his legal guardian.  He thinks that much of him.  He basically doesn't see himself in a future relationship that his mate could become the parent.  He's not anticipating a possibility of marriage or meeting someone that he feels stronger about then Buck in that regard.  That's huge

This relationship is a slow but perfect, not fast love. Eddie says i matters you Buck  ..

This was everything. I mean it's not a kiss but he literally gave Buck a reason to live, co-parenting for the win! Buck almost lost his boyfriend and his father figure in one episode, he needed this.

Even though it sucks big time they didn't end up together at the end of the episode, my heart is full because this scene was so moving
