Just a quick note here, I unfortunately included an image that used AI in its production during the Dragon King segment. My intention is never to include AI generated content in my own content, even if it’s something that is only shown on the screen for a few seconds for a visual aid. I unfortunately didn’t do my due diligence to confirm whether or not the image was AI and included it anyway, which if you’re familiar with my content you’ll know I never use this type of content. This was just due to the fact I hastily added the image and didn’t really take a second look at it. For something like Dragon King that doesn’t have actual box art since it never came out, using custom art from fans is something I do often, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to catch the use of AI in this one. Also I agree the image is a pretty horrendous representation of the game, and I honestly should’ve taken the time to make a custom box art myself, so again that is my bad, and in the future I’ll be more aware of where the images I use come from. Thanks for understanding and to the people who pointed it out to me!

32:45 I've heard enough, put this man on the next Fear and Hunger Termina update

I like how one of the Crash concept arts was literally just Swiper from Dora lol

I spoke with the devs of The Suffering and they told me a lot about the cut content from that game. Of note, they mentioned a Stun Stick weapon which was cut because they couldn't make it useful versus the other melee weapons. They also wanted to include a sunken Submarine level with unique enemies named Lurkers. The devs couldn't properly tie the submarine into the story/gameplay so they split it into two other elements that ARE in the game: the crashed plane and the beached ship.

Purple rabbit in SM64DS is a classic

The L4D2 concept art is crazy. Coach could have been the guy from Fallen Down and they have Dwight and Richard Ayoade from IT Crowd.

"Once again, Shigeru Miyamoto forced Rare, at gunpoint-!"

I love how we've all collectively decided Miyamoto is some sort mix between a cryptid, a whimsical being, and a man of incredible power.

I 100% would believe if someone said he smashed through the walls of Sega like the Kool-aid man, just to T-Pose and dip out.

So grateful to you that you are continuing this one.

Thank you.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and all that cut content...it's a miracle they decided to actually put it as an extra content in the recent Remastered version. All thanks to the fans Who for years dug through data!

sweet more cut content stuff

I recently saw a video on mouse PI for hire and found out their are apparently cut clues that would have indicated Cornelius Stilton is actually a twist bad guy instead of the good mayor candidate he is in the final game. They can even still be placed on the board when loaded in but lacking some graphics and dialogue.

Pretty sure the "Planned to have 40 colosi" thing is a misnomer. They werent planning on HAVING 40. They just conceptualized 40.

1:25:32 right next to Dwight Schrute is Morris Moss from the IT crowd, which leads me to believe that third character is another nerd from another sitcom I haven't seen.

Can't imagine being a gamedev, working on some unused cut content. Poor souls

The brawl battle damage thing did kind of make it into Smash 4 and Ultimate. If Little Mac takes over 100% damage, bruises and bandages will appear on him, and it even carries over to the victory screen at the end of the match.

42:38 Little note, while Miyamoto did suggest the idea of changing Saber to Fox, Rare ware was never "forced" to make it a Star Fox game. In multiple interviews, they stated that they were excited to turn Dinosaur Planet into a Star Fox game.

I think this is a genuine statement from them, so for now, we gotta stop the myth that Rare was forced by Miyamoto...

Although with Miyamoto's track record, I don't anyone for believing this

In the era of soulless ai slop, i look back on the fmv segments in games fondly. Sure they're dated but they atleast put effort into them, something you dont see often nowadays and i love it for that. Glad it didn't become lost media because meatloaf faced calypso's performances are pretty great!
