Just like Muhammad Ali before him, Mike Tyson wasn't the same fighter he was before his hiatus. He wasn't as fast, explosive, and powerful in punches and wasn't executing the peek-a-boo fighting style effectively and consistently in his fights.

Holyfield would have beaten Mike earlier too. He was the better fighter prime for prime. Better footwork. Quicker handspeed, Much better jab. And Holyfield could fight way better on the retreat than Mike ever could. He also used angles better, Fought better out of the Clinch, Had better stamina and a Chin.
It baffles me that people ever thought Mike was the favorite. He literally only has a Power punch over holyfield. Evander even has the height and reach.

One of the major downfalls of pro boxing is that so many matches happen during the wrong times. In my opinion, Mike Tyson's best years were between 86- 88. Tyson was at his absolute best during these three years. No doubt, a short-lived, but, objectively unstoppable prime. Holyfield didn't become a heavyweight until July of '88. Their first fight didn't happen until 1996. I'm not making excuses for Tyson,., I think Holyfield would have most likely beat Tyson during both of their primes. However, I do think Tyson had his best chance during the 80s.

I’m a little disappointed in the ending! I literally thought my phone glitched or something, so I opened it again to realize that was it. I think you could’ve added more of the aftermath, besides about 30 seconds…

Mike ultimately did face his worst nightmare…himself….THAT is who beat him.

Don King ruined Mike Tyson.
Tyson should have found a new promoter.
Also, he should have found new trainers.
I didn't like people making disgusting remarks about Mike Tyson. But Tyson was also irresponsible involved with the rape charges etc. Plus taking a chunk out of Evander Holyfield's right ear that really shamed the sport.
