The media workshop is fighting for survival. Films like this one give a voice to people who are otherwise rarely heard. For 45 years, we have been producing independent, regional documentaries – close to the people and their stories.

Brutalism is concrete, it's an architectural style, and it's hip. The concrete blocks of the 60s and 70s, once admired and much reviled, are experiencing a comeback. Post-war buildings are being celebrated everywhere, in exhibitions and magazines. The online community, in particular, is calling for the rescue of these concrete monsters under the hashtag #sosbrutalism. Many were already demolished or ruined by renovations before historic preservation authorities intervened – including in Nuremberg. Our film "Is this architecture or can it go?" The tour explores examples of this sculptural architectural style, which is as raw in design and material as it is original and futuristic: Norishalle, Scharrer Gymnasium, Norikus. The guided tour is led by experts who also offer insights into the future of urban planning.
