i have ADHD and crazy short term memory for a lot of things. took a crazy amount of notes from this video (6 full pages) because my fear of man always overpowers my fear of God. looking forward to taking the teachings within and applying them to my own walk with God

I'm "hyping" this (whatever that means) and praising God for this practical and comprehensive wisdom drop!!!!! Thank you, brother in Christ! God bless you always.

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind". 2 Timothy 1:7

This timing is absolutely perfect, starting second year of my degree after going on a gap year due to mental health, finding god during it now not knowing anyone in this new environment i have been seeking boldness and courage to act differently, more truer version of myself, through who god says i am. Thank you !!!!

I’ve had to risk losing comfortable friendships and relations through the conviction of having to rebuke a sibling in Christ about the seriousness of sin. It was so difficult because I knew I had to trust the Lord and not control the narrative. And, it was so difficult because I didn’t want any tension genuinely among our friendships, but the sin had to be addressed and I have to trust the way of the Lord. Because I naturally desire being liked and respected, I’m at a point where sometimes I’m doubting if I’d done the right thing if the result had to be these uncomfortable and broken relations and gossip. This helped me realign my perspective again and again. My prayer is that the Lord’s love will overflow from my heart to them in prayer, respect, and trust.

Thank you for reminding and showing others scripturally and practically what it means to fear the Lord, walk in obedience, and trust Him.

This is a process friends :)
Identity and purpose
Luke 2:48, John 18:36, John 19:10-11
- why should we be afraid of our circumstances when we're in God's will? God is the one controlling it all.
- Jesus knew who he was and through that he feared no man.
- therefore we also, knowing what is on the other side for us, should lay aside every weight and sin that so easily besets us (fear of man)

Matthew 12:9-14, John 2:3-4
- he knew God's will. He also know when he needed to do things.
- Jesus knew how to say no, but also to trust in God's will to do things.

So how we do this
Isaiah 51:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Matthew 5:13, Matthew 5:14, Romans 8:37, Colossians 3:3, Romans 8
- we are the light of the world, an holy priesthood, will not face death, saved by God, new creation in Christ, called higher, why worry about what other people think of you?

Jeremiah 1:5, Jeremiah 29:11
- when we are clear about what God wants us to do in our life, we stop worry about people who have nothing to do with what God wants us to be involved
- think of it, following God's will is far more rewarding than whatever humans could give me in approval
Well then, saint, how do we know our purpose and what God wants us to do?

Love of God
1 John 4:18, John 17:20-23, John 15:9-10
- we see that there is no fear in love. He who fears (man, anything in general)

How to apply
- Jesus shows how to overcome fear, through love. He knows his Father loves him and could protect him, but he also knows God's love for everyone else and so he trusts the Father enough to go through with his mission, even though the cross laid ahead.
What is the love of Jesus, 1 John 4:10-11

Fear of God
Isaiah 11:3, Matthew 10:26-30, Proverbs 29:25, Psalm 1:1-3
- fear God leads to obeying God, obedience leads to God's goodness, and then we see that it's good, and we trust God more

Psalm 118:5-9
Verse 5 "I called on the LORD in distress..."
- he call on the Lord, and God saves him
"
- we see here his confidence is built now that God has saved him
Verse 7 "..I shall see my desire on those who hate me...
- God isn't just on my side, he protecting me, working with me, and fighting for me

Verse 8 "
- comes to the conclusion, if God is fighting for me and I don't have to fear people, then in set! No fear

Verse 9
- now we move to princes, to people of those power, revelation. Normally we have no power, put God is even higher than those things and I don't have to be scared of anything.

Finally,
Hebrews 11:1
Evidence and faith in our lives

I was very grateful to have the Holy Spirit speak through this video to my specific need and moment of life.

I am very grateful you have given your life to Jesus for him to work through you! Thank you! 🙏🏼

Wow! I love hearing scripture in this way

I like the way you teach, brother
Very anointed. Bringing us to the heart of the Father

Thank you, i was just thinking today that the fear of men and all this anxiety is not how I'm supposed to live. Jesus died for my freedom. I guess the answer is always to look back to him ❤

I WAS PRAYING ABOUT THS LAST NIGHT OH MY GOSH

Wow this is amazing!

“No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬
I especially loved the part about certain things being below us now. I spent so much time agonizing about wanting people to like me and see the good I’m doing and the sacrifices I’m making (coworkers and family and my church family too)
But I grew so tired and resentful that I really just had to get a grip and just make up my mind that it’s not the end of the world and I can’t please everyone. Thank God for the cross, that His blood covers me and God sees me as righteous through Jesus. That has to become more valuable to us than the fleeting opinions of fickle people

I'm thinking "I don't people please"
Then a few minutes in when you say something about not praying in front of others or praying for sick ppl "I am such a huge people pleaser! " I just never thought of it like that, I'm just shy or awkward or whatever but you're right I'm afraid. Yikes

I absolutely look forward to your videos! You truly have a gift. Thank you for using it to help people gain more knowledge about God and to have a more abundant life!

I am also battling with the fear of men, always trying to prove myself and it actually ends in tears. But today I am reminded to remain in Christ's love and by that I overcome fear❤.

Amen bro
