I'm in this video. At 12:46. Pretty close to 30 years ago from the day I'm typing this post! "I'm here to see Barbra!" It's at Tower Video on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood. I think only maybe the first 15 people in line got tickets. Myself included. Saw her on my 24th birthday. June 2, 1994. "Memories..."

She did perform onstage between 1967 and 1994. People talk as if she just stopped but she did benefits etc. Shestill went on stage and performed live, just not that often. Also “A Star Is Born” had concert scenes that were performed live on stages in front of audiences. They filmed it that way so it would be realistic. It wasn’t lip-syncing in a studio. Why do people perpetuate this myth that she didn’t perform live for 27 years? It’s not true.
