This is a meaningful topic because I’m not just showing charity—I’m showing the heart and mindset of the younger Khmer generation helping their elders in America.
Today at the temple, I met a wonderful group of young Khmer volunteers who came together to help elderly Khmer people in America. ❤️
They volunteer their time to explain how to receive free vitamins, help people apply for government assistance, provide free health checkups with nurses, translate for those who need help, and connect people with free flu shots and other community services.
I was truly proud to see the younger generation carrying the spirit of compassion and helping their Khmer community.
I decided to film and interview them—not only to show what they are doing, but also to ask an important question:
What is in their hearts and minds that inspires them to volunteer and help their Khmer elders?
Their actions show that our Khmer culture of compassion, generosity, and helping one another can continue from one generation to the next.
May their good hearts inspire more young people to serve their communities. 🙏❤️

សកម្មភាពរបស់ពួកគាត់បង្ហាញថា ស្មារតីសប្បុរសធម៌ ការចេះជួយគ្នា និងការយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ចំពោះអ្នកដទៃរបស់ជនជាតិខ្មែរ អាចបន្តពីមួយជំនាន់ទៅមួយជំនាន់។
