Absolutely. I find them more attractive when they're thriving in their element. A free individual.

I fell in love with my sweetie when he was cutting trees in the front yard- he was so focused and determined- he made me proud 😊

Esther is a modern day Intellectual Goddess. Love her spirit. Her messaging. Her insights. And yes, her passion for helping people connect deeper.

Moral of the story do NOT control anyone, but rather be happy and support their passions dreams! Push them to be their best version and vice verse. Otherwise they or you will Run fast out of your each others life lol

"Desire needs space". It's like that quote,"Absence makes the heart grow fonder." Oftentimes people get into relationships or there's mutual attraction and one person (or both) get clingy, and then things go downhill. Both people need to keep working on themselves and discovering new things to share with the other person, even if it means being away from them at times. That's what keeps things fresh and exciting.

There is another saying " The fourth leg of a chair is only appreciated when it is no longer there". The things your partner is doing for you are often taken for granted. Take a few steps backward in whatever way, and you will appreciate it. Space and closeness work hand in hand. How true this is!

This doesn’t work with an addict or a cheater. The more I allowed distance, the more he cheated and got drunk/high. This only works with healthy individuals.

Is it just me or is Esther also hot as well as intellectually and emotionally top class?

It's too bad that your partner can't find you attractive when you're hurting and needing their love and support the most.

DESIRE IS THE ABSENCE OF A PRESENCE

Desire seems to be rooted in the paradox of being able to embrace and at the same time overcome otherness in a creative way rather than leading to frustration

True... I used to say to my boyfriend I wish you'd go somewhere so I can miss you. He just didn't understand I wanted to want him instead of just having him.

This is a FABULOUS couples exercise! "When do you find me the most attractive?"

@kimmyqueen8009 6 years ago

Makes total sense instead of being in a persons face 24/7

Completely true except one thing.. it’s not giving the other person freedom because everyone is born free. Possession doesn’t belong to any good relationship.. encourage the other to be themselves. A happy free bird comes back to it nest.
