AI application:

- "Are you human?"
- checks box "Yes"
- "Sorry, you’re not what we're looking for at this time."

I like this format for Sad Boyz cause it makes it seem like they were just chilling on the couch and people came in and started subjecting them to the worst garbage imaginable lol

18:28 The AI voice is so bad I preferred listening to the ad

imagine having the ability to make your "characters" look any way you want but then you willingly generate Barri Weiss

My best friend texted me last week that her company embraced her CEO podcast idea and she’s the executive producer! But it’s just an AI voice of the ceo giving company updates to employees…I couldn’t even fake excitement

Don’t sell yourself short: SEVENTY PERCENT ADS.

What gets me is that, as a species, we've discovered in the last 50 years that human voices are so, so addictive. You always leave the tv on in the background, or a podcast while sleeping, it's constant.
And a big part of that is, I think, that it is or was a nother human on the other end of the line.

Even someone who's brain has rotten to the point of finding this shit worth listening to (most tech ceos), surely you must feel... deeply alone when you do?

March 4th: Mark Zuckerberg Grilled by New Mexico Prosecutors Day. I for one choose to celebrate privately.

If you listen to AI podcast, your rights as main character should be revoked and you should be demoted to NPC for the rest of your life.

Angela from Smosh mention , Jarvis and Jordan on Reddit stories when ??

Does Spotify or whatever pay the same for 1000 listens of one podcast than for one listen each of 1000 podcasts? Because it feels like they wouldn't, and do 11000 a day feels self defeating

4:10 that’s so classically American lol. All of Europe, one podcast for news

Jordan out here looking like your favorite professor, love it!

What inevitably happens when you give talentless hacks access to an infinite instant slop generator.

19:03 Katie Brown is definitely a real person. She used to have a show either in syndication or on PBS I can’t remember. But it was called Katie Brown’s Workshop I remember one episode especially where she showed how to encourage your kids to eat more fruit by replacing the pulp of a lemon wedge with lemon sorbet.

Yeah, this concept is cooked from the ground up.

So are the local ads the point? like they make their money by scamming local businesses paying for advertising by faking that they have a legitimate podcast platform on which to advertise?

one of my old coworkers is EXACTLY the demographic for those AI podcasts. she watches/listens to AI stuff all the time, she's gotten numb to the weird AI voice

Jordan looks so hot wit grey hair

@6:41 Not that this is unexpected of mass produced AI slop, but not only is it mostly gibberish in a stilted voice, it's also completely wrong right out of the gate. It says, "Facebook's start in 2008" - Like bro it's well known that Facebook first started in 2004 and opened up to the general public in 2006. I was on Facebook in early 2007. So it's poorly "written", poorly "narrated" and is blatantly factually incorrect multiple times in just that first 30 seconds. WHO IS THIS FOR???

I hope I never have the displeasure of interacting with someone who desires listening to an AI podcast
