As a father I want to Thank You for not taking your fluctuation out on your son and show him what a dad does when things go wrong. Also the hug you gave Laura in your last video was great. Too many Utubers act like it’s wrong to show love for there children on camera. T S from south of Louisville Kentucky
This is a wonderful example of how a great supervisor handles the situation when stuff goes bad ... a learning opportunity ... nothing is gained by making someone feel stupid or incompetent . Good Job.
You are an awesome farmer and dad. I helped a neighbor farm for several years and he was the same way. I had a couple of mishaps and like he was the same way. He always said, we learn from our mistakes. One time I was dumping a load of beans in a bin in the corn crib. I had dumped my load and as I was coming out of the crib I either forgot to put the grain truck bed down or didn't get in down in time as I was driving out of the crib and the truck bed caught the crib overhang. Turned out to be a pretty major repair, but he actually had me help with fixing it. A lesson learned, for sure. Spent 30 years of my life on the farm.. My dad, both grandfathers, and my dads two brothers were all farmers. My oldest brother took over the farming after my dad passed away at the age of 50. This was in NW Indiana. I eventually moved to Arizona to go to nursing school.
yeah I grew up farming...so I know about finding ways to recycle what may be laying around. We originally farmed in northern MN, then later in northern CA. Now retired in SE WA . And I know "Uffta"...(Also Norwegian/Swedish heritage)..
for the flapper dapper thingie a old transportingbelt can be used , and invest in a industrial vacuumcleaner , or a old vacuumtank to suck up the corn , works much faster
We are all human and we make mistakes. Saw the same thing happen at the local elevator. Keep up the awesome videos and thanks for sharing your adventures 👍 God bless you all
8:30 when something bad happens I always say ok take ten minutes to feel bad and then move on and if you mess up and then try to hurry and make up for it you never do.. you can only just not mess up more
