On the 28th, the final rehearsal, known as "Oozarae," for the "Onshukai," a performance of the Inoue school of Kyomai dance featuring geiko and maiko from Gion Kobu, one of Kyoto's five geisha districts, was held at the Gion Kobu Kaburenjo in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City. The maiko, dressed in gorgeous kimonos, performed pieces such as "Taiko Odori" (drum dance) and "Yotsu no Sode" (four sleeves).
