Here's what I did. I hooked up a vibration sensor to a small table next to my chair. When I knock on wood (knock on the table), fairy lights that I've discreetly scattered around the living room come to life and flicker a bit, before turning back off. It's like the fae heard my knock on the wood and answer. It is my most magical, whimsical home automation. So far. 😁

I love this! I used to say my style was boho-goth, but whimsigoth makes more sense!

Love this style. Also, love your eyebrows.

Just came across you’re content today. Didn’t even know how big some of the festivals are. Like I was introduced to a whole new way of life. Sounds over the top but thank you. You are definitely living you’re best life

I agree with all of your ideas. I have some velvet pieces of fabric that I need to make into something but I'm really not sure my husband will be happy with even more throw pillows. I particularly like the idea of the sticker stars on the wall. I had not thought of that. We have many large pictures from the Renaissance Festival in our bedroom and the stars could be a nice touch. Should look into that. I don't think hanging vines would work for me being as we share our home with 4 cats who would definitely think it had been done for them. I think the whimsey (goth) is a nice blend with the dark academia and the darker earthy colors really draw me in, along with the LED candles and the fairy lights. Lots of nice ideas. Thank you.

I think the term you’re looking for is ‘Moravian Star’.

Thanks for the ideas

Upcycling, you can also strip off fabric, bound frame with yarn, use this to be able to attach panels of chosen fabric to, then adorn with decorative trim on seams and edges and add tasselmtrim around bottom of shade. Watch from the mind of christine mcconnell. I have elements of whimsey goth, velvet, moon, nature door curtain, red, that image with golden cappy at beginning has been on my wish list for a couple of years its in my folder on sd card from Pinterest. this video has triggered me to expand on this. Wow for the video

Another great video! I can't wait to include some of these ideas to my new office (when the house is finally built!) x

Another wonderful video!  And yes, promote your fabulous ideas!  My aesthetic is Victorian/Art Deco but I love watching your ideas on other styles as there are always creative ideas to be found.  Sending kind regards from The Yarra Valley, Australia.

I always love your ideas, many of which I already was doing. I'm excited about the wisteria over my couch idea!🖤

Star map ceiling idea just been stolen for the room with my telescopes, optics etc.

I already using the stain glass decals from other videos.

I still can’t do the vines though. It is too viney.

Soooo obsessed with your videos 🤩

I love this style ❤❤❤

These are great ideas. You have such a knack for home decor/aesthetics. Do you think whimsigoth would mesh well with dark academia? I want to re-do my bedroom, and I want it to be mainly a dark academia inspired space, but I also really enjoy cellestial themes as well as dark blue as an accent color and gold/brass as an accent metal.

👍🏻 always enjoy your videos. Any tips for steampunk? I would like to design a industrial,1940s and steampunk theme

Wow, I just love your aesthetic (spelling? xD) so much, and this one is just super lovely and dreamy!
Just one tiny little pet peeve - could I ask you to exlude any pictures that are visibly AI? The gothic picture with the two lovely staircases is amazing, but unfortunately the staircase in the back doesn't lead anywhere q___q This is not a criticism, and I won't stop watching your videos because of that, I just needed to mention it :)

dusting the vines .. any tips?

✨🖤✨ fifty seven year old virgin listening and watching ✨🖤✨

Whimsygoth reminds me of gypsy type decor. My style would be a mix of renaissance and fairy decor. I like each room to be different color themes. My bedroom is mauve, bathroom is black/white, diningroom is green and brown, my kitchen is blue and pink and my laundry room is navy. My living room is the only place that lacks. I despise my couch, my kids broke it from jumping. Now they have to deal with a broken couch because i am not buying another until we move. Hopefully in 2 years, i would like a colored couch. The ideas you shared are great ideas i am going to add.
