"Bomb the city"
"Will that help?"
"Well, a few people will remember you tried your best."

The way she deliver her lines in bomb word really gives me chills the way she act is superb

Incredible how it took her a few seconds to know the only solution. And the generals face when she said Bomb this city, and everyone in it. Gave me chills

For once, the military guy is not arrogant or insistent. He is literally begging for help. And the scientist argues for the only solution, as horrid as it may be. It's not some unrealistic idealistic, but an actual person who knows what's going on. It's a nice change of pace.

1:14 the moment she heard “14” escaped and realize it is already late to contain anything and that it is the end of the world and her hands shakes with the tea, putting it down on the table….. the actress (Christine Hakim) just nailed it ❤❤❤❤❤❤

The way her hand shakes while holding the teacup, after being told how many missing workers there are… pure terror

The actress in this was, quite frankly, magnificent. The most terrifying part of the show so far because of how calm and logical the character is, but you still see her realisation and fear. Brilliant performance.

She could have asked for safe passage for her and her family, yet she chose to share the same fate as everyone else

Unlike other zombie stories like walking dead they're completely oblivious to what's causing the zombies so they still think they can maybe cure it and shouldn't just kill everyone. What makes this show so unique is they know exactly what it is and that there's no cure for it. Completely changes the approach and the way the story plays out.

This actress is great but so is the guy playing the General. You can see the implications playing in his eyes and the horror as he realizes what ratna is suggesting

I love how episode starts with soldiers being the threatening people where the scientist scared for her life but in the last scene military guy is all scared when the scientist suggests the destruction of the whole city with everyone in it, such a reversal of roles.

The actress showed herself perfectly, it is clear that she is actively reflecting on the monstrous information and is horrified by the upcoming events.

As an Indonesian, this feels so weird. I have zero expectation that it would be handled nearly as swiftly as this. I'd expect for them to just endlessly toss the hot potato until it was too late.

On this day, it's still a haunting scene. To have a scientist suggest the most extreme measure, while the general wants something less impactful highlights the urgency of preventing the spread.

What I LOVE about this scene is that it reverses the roles where the Military guy wants to bomb everything and the scientist is like " Noooo! How can you do that?! ". Nah, the scientist straight up tells the Military guy ( who's way over his head ) to just nuke everything.

Hearing 14 potential cordyceps carriers were eluding quarantine is like hearing rabies has gone Airborne.

Just wanna chime in as a Malaysian here (which shares a fair amount of our national language with the Indonesians), the translation at 1:12 was slightly incorrect. Ibu Ratna was simply asking "what about the other workers?", not "Are any other workers missing?" She was still asking with a slight, albeit misplaced optimism that it was not as bad as she thought and the problem seems to be containable. When Agus then replied "14 went missing", instead of just "14", which painted clearly to her how badly this has gone. This is why her sudden shift to terror and tremble is so powerful. A problem that she thought was containable became an outright pandemic with one singular reply. The actress was incredible and the slight mistranslation didn't do her justice I feel. That sudden realization also solidified and justified her solution of bombing.

"I want to be with my family" - Last words spoken by many dead men. Rarely chilled but that was masterfully done.

I thought her response was gonna be “pray”
Her answer to the problem had a wonderful authenticity to it. Her frankness and regretful yet truthful response to a lifelong struggle she new there was no solution to bar pulling a Redeker.
