Watching this video made me realize there are still many truly pristine and amazing places in the Philippines. The most shocking part was the section about Balicasag Island; the continental shelf has sunk more than 90 meters – it was breathtaking to see from the drone, like a skyscraper standing upright underwater.

But the most impressive thing was the Batad rice terraces; they were completely hand-carved into the side of the mountain 2000 years ago, and the gravity-based water regulation system still works perfectly today – absolutely incredible. The final scene with the hanging coffins in Sagada was both mysterious and a little creepy. The documentary is high-quality, from the visuals to the information; every minute is worth watching!

I honestly felt like I was teleported there while watching this and it is definitely one of the best documentaries I have seen this month.

I caught myself holding my breath during those cliffside shots and my vertigo is definitely kicking in just from watching this.

As a Filipino who has spent more than 30 years living in this beautiful country, there is nothing but admiration for the breathtaking beauty of the Philippines; a true tropical paradise made up of more than 7,641 islands, with around 2,000 inhabited and over 5,600 remaining untouched by human settlement.

Blessed with extraordinary biodiversity and awe-inspiring natural wonders, this remarkable archipelago continues to captivate the imagination. It is easy to believe that beyond the places already known, there are still hidden landscapes of incredible beauty and remarkable species waiting to be discovered.

May these natural treasures be protected and preserved, so that generations to come can witness a true paradise and experience the same sense of wonder that has made the Philippines one of nature's greatest masterpieces.

I have lived in the city my whole life so seeing these untouched parts of the Philippines is honestly a huge breath of fresh air for me.

The color palette in this documentary is gorgeous because the deep emerald greens and ocean blues look completely organic instead of being overly saturated.

I am completely captivated by these untamed landscapes because they show a side of the islands that most tourists will never get to witness.

Absolutely loved the Philippines, 6 trips over 30 years ago. Only managed to see Boracay, Bohol, Cebu & the main island of Luzon. An excellent destination for diving in pristine waters. ❤
