That's why you should have a code phrase with your mom for situations like these, like "congress tart"

Yea karl mentions that story about the old lady going on holiday with a tan a few times , that was actually a thing here in the UK when they would send pictures where you would sponcer a person & you get pictures of their progress..... this is obviously something that really annoyed karl !

Richard Curtis is probably one of the most successful British screenwriters of all time. He cowrote Blackadder and Mr Bean aswell as several romcoms like Love Actually, Bridget Jones's Diary, Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral

When the camera cut to Karl's face about 3 minutes in, i love that sulky, mardy expression he had😂

Karl's role playing for KP plumbing was absolute classic.
"...I tell you what, you're not coming back here...F#*K off!!!" 🤣
Talk about getting into the role.
I'm sure his blood pressure shot up, he got into it that much.

I think the US tried Comic Relief, once upon a time. I remember seeing a skit where Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, (Eddie Murphy? Arsenio Hall?) sang a song called, "Don't Be A Greedy Bastard" to encourage people to pledge. Guess it never caught on.

Not watched Comic Relief for years (not since Lenny Henry's comments ! ) and never seen this clip ... I'm on Karl's side with this and you have excellent points as usual Mandy, thanks Mandy ☺

Btw, I love hearing from you about life in Argentina...I've learnt a lot more than I knew before.
Argentina's lucky to have you, & so are we. 👍
