Even Fluttershy went through an arc where she was able to find confidence in herself.

Ironic he’s insisting that OP’s wife be more like Fluttershy considering the character’s entire arc was about conquering her anxiety, becoming more social, and even learning to stand up for herself. In later seasons, she’s one of the more assertive characters in the show. So, yeah, even his own pony crush doesn’t fit his demands.

I like Cinema Therapy and how they went into the difference between the Nice Guy and the Good Guy. Makes all the difference.

Self-proclaimed feminist? Man-Bun? Brony? Christ, is this person TRYING to be a living caricature?

As somebody from Northern Ireland, with family who were directly involved in the troubles, let’s just say that I very sharply inhaled when I heard that line

The Space Whale conspiracy being true made me laugh. Ya know, it just reinforces that insanely sage saying: "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you."

Helping loved ones overcome mental illness is "making them something they're not"? So by this guy's logic, I should stop trying to manage my depression because "YoU'Re peRFecT thE WAy yoU ARe!!" Yeah alright, I'll just spiral into increasingly bleak thoughts and hopelessness again. Thanks, chief.

What's with all these creeps simping for characters that are meek and shy?

Oh I know. Reliance. These dudes want a woman who is emotionally dependent on them because there is no way a woman would love them otherwise. Pathetic.

God, everytime someone is like “I couldn’t believe this wasn’t a trollpost”, I just want to send screenshot after screenshot of guys exactly like this ending up in my DMs

To be fair, there’s nothing wrong with being like fluttershy. Mostly because she didn’t stay meek and timid. She’s still quiet and soft spoken, but she will speak up. Its character growth and what not.

“As a male feminist incel, I found a lot of the language in this video to be very problematic.”

"(Note the Dwarf Barbarian was male)" damn, she preemptively stiff-armed him and he STILL took that road. Well played on her part, though.

Epic Gamer Pro Tip: don't simp for your fellow player, especially if they are married and their partner is AT THE TABLE WITH THEM

Due to the fact that that dude seemed to know nothing about how Fluttershy got a lot stronger, more confident and independent as the series progressed, something tells me he's not actually a pony fan, but just happened to find a character on the internet that could fulfill his sick need to find someone insecure to be completely dependent on him, and a character from an all-ages show who starts off very overdone in that aspect was probably just an unfortunately easy target for him to latch onto.

"The Troubles"... which were also a part of the Eight Hundred Years.  That "Nice Guy" CLEARLY had ZERO Irish ancestry because NO ONE who actually knows about Irish history would EVER make light of what happened between the 12th and 20th Centuries.

The "Nice Guy" is actually a "Cult Leader" but without the charisma to create a cult.

4:14 Never tell an Irish person how to feel about the troubles, or any other event in irish history with similar political issues (The 1916 rising, the civil war etc) I'm surprised that guys friend didn't punch him as soon as the "niceguy" even opened his mouth, cause I sure as hell would have.

That's not a red flag that's a GIANT Mountain of red flags...

My grandparents and mother were effected by the troubles (they were from the north) & moved to the Republic of Ireland. The troubles was a really fucked up time even when it was over.

I am thankful my family didn't lose anyone very close but it was a close call a few times, and even then there was constant harassment when they moved to the south to escape the troubles because they were from the north. It was a nightmare and destroyed so many lives.

That last line was just DnD in a nutshell wasn't it?
"I'm surrounded by idiots!  You're all fools, cowards, and scoundrels!
...
Anyway, same time next week?"

Oh yea, being a “feminist” nice guy is definitely gonna get the girl.
