Blackpink as a group actually didn´t release that many Songs...  Google says 33 Songs in 9 Years. XG has released almost 20 Group Songs already ( like 16 if you don´t count some RMXes),  in just 3 Years. And the new Full Album is droping in a month 😉

"You set the bar too low, that's why we raise ours" ahhhh I love this!

The girls are all Japanese . .Harvey is Japanese-Australian and Hinata is Japanese-Korean . . . Jurin, Juria, Cocona and Chisa are Japanese . . . . XG are definitely in their own lane 🔥

XG is dropping full album in January. They've confirmed that the album will solidify the new genre "X-pop". They are all Japanese but had training in Korea and promoted in Korea early on. Since all their title tracks are in English they are considered a global group.

XG is XPOP. Its Global girl group

Glad the duo came back for this one!!!

XG are all Japanese (I think Hinata is like 1/4 Korean, Harvey is half Aussie) but trained in the K-pop system and are based in Korea but now have a main office/studio in Japan. Their company XGALX is multinational, but mostly made up of Korean and Japanese employees, and they work with artists, writers, and producers from around the world, with heavy contributions from the US Hip-Hop and R&B production scene.

XG has a full album coming out in January.

“Simmer down everyone else” LMAO! Nah but really though, Jurin said it herself “You set the bar too low that’s why we raised ours.” Yeah XG is definitely in a lane of their own. They might’ve started K-pop adjacent but now they’ve paved a lane entirely for themselves. Like who else is getting a legendary MC to go bar for bar with them. Speaking of, I think comparatively to what Rapsody has done. I think Rapsody just wanted Jurin to shine that’s why she didn’t out rap Jurin. But yeah if you watch the behind the scenes Rapsody had so much love and respect for Jurin and some of the girls that were there. Even to the point where Rapsody told Jurin “The culture needed this” I really hope XG continues to work with Rapsody.

Yall should definitely do the version that has the whole XG rap line. AND they all wrote their own bars! ❤

So great to see this, I was waiting for this! Thanks so much King for redoing this with Siah, did not disappoint! You guys should watch the Behind the Scenes, gives great feels and insight into this collab!

been waitin for this!!!!  glad you are revisiting as a duo!!!

Thanks!

ALPHAZ on deck!  So, about 4:00 in you are discussing Jurin holding it down.  For me, Rapsody and Jurin wrote their own style lyrics, so they both could excel and we as hip hop heads would not have to choose.  Rapsody for me flows so smooth it is criminal.  Jurin Asaya pops and punches her bars like a veteran.  This collab is next level.

That is a hot take lmao. Song is amazing but i do think Rapsody held back and gave Jurin more of a moment for her debut. But this collab is special.

The best way i would describe XG is a sentence. XG is a dance crew that makes hip hop and rnb infused pop for a global audience that draws from kpop and jpop performance. Its a novel concept and approach but thats why the popularity is catching up.

she does have writing credits but with help with lyricks. But still the performance is legit, you still wont get that same performance and delivery from most people.

I was one of the ones who requested a redo.... This reaction was GREAT, THANK YOU KING❣️
ALL THE GIRLS ARE JAPANESE.,.. HOWEVER HARVEY IS JAPANESE/ AUSTRALIAN & HINATA IS JAPANESE/KOREAN
BUT ALL THE GIRLS WERE TRAINED IN KOREA 🤗

Yass im glad we got him reacting thank you !!!

ALPHAZ ON DECK 🐺🐺🐺

XG used to be based in Korea but now they're stationed in Japan. As for the members. Harvey is half Australian and Hinata is half Korean. The rest are all full Japanese. They were all also raised in Japan with the exception of Harvey who I believe was born in Australia but moved to Japan when she was really young and then was mostly raised in Japan as well.

Ahahah, my guy Siah. Was looking forward to you reacting to this as a duo! I absolutely loved this track. There's something about the way this is put together in terms of the music, filming and all around aesthetics/vibes that is so pure Hip-Hop. As a Hip-Hop head from young, it's beautiful. Don't get me wrong, I think there are artists in K-Pop that truly respect the roots, but I think they are truly few far and between. As much as a respect talent, shit like this is what I truly love. PURE. Got me feeling some Nujabes vibes along with 90s golden era. Rapsody killed it, but I was incredibly impressed by the way Jurin complemented a legend on this track. She deserves full praise. Same to the team around her. Love it. Fucking, laaaarve it m8.

P.S Have y'all checked out the Nas & Preem release? I'm in heaven.

Big up.
