Throughout the whole game, Texas stadium played House of Pain with fans and players dancing.  Right before the last Mountaineer drive to win the game, Texas played that song BUT WVU players started dancing on the field.  The Texas fans were silent.  I sat down in my seat and said "we'll going to win this game."

Geno, Stedman and of course Tavon were all elite CFB players. One of the best offensive trios ever was basically wasted because of perhaps the worst defense in Mountaineer history

This team had all the makings of a great team.  The 5 game losing streak in the middle of the season never should have happened.  The season earned a real black eye with loss to SYR.

Buie was the real MVP of this game! This team was too good to finish the way they did. Historically awful D

Stedman was a vacuum to the ball like Wvu has never seen

Andrew Buie was a dawg, hope he knows he’s still loved in WV!

The whole country was ready to give Geno the heisman after this game

We had no pass rush unlike the year before whenever we had Bruce Irvin, Scooter Berry and Dykes. The best offense we've ever had wasted because of the defense smh.

Unless you’re the SEC, you really miss the P5-P5 non conference pre conference-games to start each season

Ash was such a tool in this game.  The EERS were so great at this point in the year.  Then, a total collapse.

One of the best offenses in the country but unfortunately with it being our first year in big 12 our defense was so undersized. Tough season to watch knowing teams can score on us pretty much every drive.

This team...the best of highs...the worst of lows. Bipolar to the max!

And then WVU shat the bed vs TTU big time before finishing with 5 losses that season including blow out defeats to KSU and OSU.  First sign that Holgorsen's had only one phase figured out and that was the offense.

Ah, those were the years, when West Virginia football meant something. Will we ever get back?  Who knows?
