It should also be stated that Sam L Jackson had 'Bad Motherf**ker' engraved on the hilt and this was used in the films but Jackson's hands covered it

I like how you can see George flip to "eh, fuck it. I am the lore" when deciding that Sam Jackson was allowed to have a purple saber

General Greivous liked this video and is now thinking of expanding his collection.

you can SEE George realizing how dope that idea is in real time.

''You might get purple''

Using a rancor tooth as a lightsaber hilt that's actually kind of cool

Ezra’s old lightsaber was ingenious in my opinion. It likely would’ve been frowned upon by the masters, but I’m sure a few of the other Jedi would’ve been intrigued by its usage as a short and long range tool.

The wood handled saber for the Wookie Jedi is absolutely PERFECT

7:39  but with a simple twist, they can twist.

The dark saber became so iconic it also became the most overused and annoying saber to exist in star wars history 💀

"Good guys are green and blue, bad guys are red. That's how it works."
"No purple lightsaber?"
"You might get purple"
There's not a man in the world that isn't afraid of Samuel L Jackson.

I'm honestly a little disappointed that Cal Kestis' lightsaber wasn't even mentioned here, the modular design is really cool and gives him unprecedented versatility

Cal Kestis’ lightsaber from Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor. In game it can be customized to all kinds of looks sure, however there is a canonical look for it. I think the canon Cal lightsaber would be a combination of his two master’s lightsabers with the crossguard vents on the Jaro Tapal half of the saber. The way Cal can use his saber is the most versatile I’ve ever seen in star wars. He can use it with one blade like Anikan and Obi-Wan, he can use two blades like Ahsoka and Ventress, he can use a saberstaff like Maul and Savage, or he can even use a crossguard like Kylo Ren. Hell he can even use a gun with it like how Kanan fought the Grand Inquisitor using Ezra’s first saber.

The idea of Darth Vader cutting down opposition with a greatsword-sized lightsaber and tripping people up by knocking it back down to broadsword size goes so hard

Hearing about Kylo Ren’s cross guard lightsaber made me remember just how I wished the Knights of Ren were actually meaningful villians. They were such a cool concept.

You forgot some things about the lightsabers...Dooku's was a multi-phase too using the trigger on the guard to change length. The Dark Saber  blade had mass to give it an advantage in heavier strikes, & blade clashes. It also had an almost magnetic force that attracted other lightsaber blades, so a nonsense force user could block better.

Mace Windu’s reason for his lightsaber is hilarious 1:25

cal kestis walking in here like cool i got all those and more

My three personal favorites are Dooku’s, Cal Kestis’ lightsaber, and Ezra Bridger’s first lightsaber

You missed Cal's Swiss Army Saber
