Amazing!  How many compur shutters did you have to work on to get some proficiency in this repair?

Hi Chris, and thank you for your videos. They helped me a great deal to properly disassemble, clean & reassemble the Synchro-Compur of my Contaflex IV. I have a question concerning the detent spring of the blade actuation ring. On my shutter, when the detent spring is dry, the actuation ring cannot complete its return movement and the blades stay opened a wee bit. When it is lubricated, the blades close completely. Is it normal behavior or do I have a spring that put too much tension on the pin? Regards.
