The part with the F/A-18s and A-10s being coordinated by Twisted is actually the lead up to a scene in the show.

In the scene, some grunts from Alpha Company of 1st Recon Battalion calls out a a multitude of moving lights suspected to be an Iraqi armored division rolling up on them at night at like 10km away. So the battalion is called to prepare, with one officer from Alpha requesting an airstrike. Sgt. Colbert from Bravo Company, 2nd Platoon comes in to investigate and concludes that the armored division rolling up on them.. Is a town, around 30km away. And goes right back to sleep.

Come the next morning for BDA. A squad from Alpha along with the lieutenant who called in the airstrike is shown just scouring burnt sand in the desert with no wrecked armor to show for it lmao.

Marines are the most poetic and the most fucked up people at the same time

Yeah, in '90 we were taught "I say again".
"Repeat" was for artillery to hit the same spot.

San Diego??
I still got my surfboard and sunglasses. Hahaha
I remember Sgt Cruz.
About to shift out, it started raining in Cali.
We in formation, he asked, "who is going to the east coast?"
We raised our hands, he said "get inside the vehicles". Left everyone stationed in Cali out in formation. It took a bit, but I figured it out. Hehehe

11:26, I guess that's the difference between a game company and real Marine chatter
