If you guys paused the movie instead of talking through it half of your questions were answered in the first 5 minutes 😂

1:02:00 it's not just love - remember 4's fear simulation when we went into his mind? One of his fears as a dauntless soldier is having to follow orders he doesn't agree with like having to delete an innocent person. He said he can never do it unless he looks away. By Tris forcing him to look at her during their fight, he wasn't able to go through with it.

Her sneaking out was good because it showed them that she’s rebellious, strong, and brave. Which is what Dauntless is all about.

7:53 I think the segregation part made sense in the books. That's where it's explained better. The city founders believed that to maintain peace, they had to eliminate human personality traits that they believed were responsible for past wars. Selfishness, cruelty, deceit, ignorance and fear. That's why they created groups to counter those vices. Something like that..

“You can move out of your social class if you work hard enough”
That is extremely uncommon. Billionaires don’t work a billion times harder than someone else, they got lucky got help, and stole the wages of people who work for them. Nobody can earn a billion dollars.

just realized that at the end in her fight with four under si,. she asks him to look at her its prollly coz he said killing an innocent by shooting was something he could only do looking away

In the era of young adult dystopian book series, my ranking is: 1. Hunger Games. 2. The Maze Runner. 3. Legend by Marie Lu. 4. Divergent.

Every 5 minutes "I ain't doing that hell nooo" 😂😂 thats why yall wouldn't be in the Dauntless fraction lol also the reason Tris didn't get dropped even tho she was at the bottom was cause she was basically a rebel they viewed it as her being brave

Horror/ thrillers actually has a lot of political and social commentary. Maybe it isn’t as visible in your typical haunted house plot but it’s huge in black horror, psychological horror, and feminist horror. When I started looking at it like that I was more open to watching them. Get Out isn’t really jump scare horror it’s more animus what is going on type of movie.
