Thank you The Shirelles for 'Soldier Boy'.....I was 12 yrs. old when I heard it on the radio.....60+ yrs Gracious, what a time warp!.....

Ray Charles to the twist and the duke.Great oldies.

This was the year I was born, however I have always liked older years records. Great records released in my birth years.

The year I graduated from High School.  I loved all of these songs which bring back a lot of memories.  Happy ones and also heartaches.

We drove from Palos Verdes to the San Fernando Valley to a place called the Cinnamon cinder and watched chubby perform, golly those were great times

I was a junior in high school. I remember doing all these dances. Loved the songs in this era

Too bad we don't have more people doing instrumentals to hearing to see the greatest abilities all instruments

I left school 1962music was great to listen to then still listening to it today long may it continue

I was 7 years old @ this time 🎉. I loved all of the songs for this year 😂😂😂

Sonny almost attains the mythical status of Pete Robert's! Thank you!

Johnny Angel is fun and nostalgic but it is followed by the amazing sound of Elvis at his best singing "Good Luck Charm.". His sound is not only brilliant but it is loaded with masculine charisma.  Plus his musicians and backup singers are top notch.

No wonder the girls swooned and screamed when he was on stage.

January 1962, I was all of 4 years old.  The radio always played at home.  These songs are remembered all too well.  The deep tone, baritone note on "Good Luck Charm" especially tickled my childish laughter back when.  And, now, the list of those hit songs make me see just how sassy in sophistication Connie Francis really was.

Year we married. Still happy love birds just not able to fly anymore ❤️😁❤️🎉❤

It was a great year!!

Oooh how we vas twisting  in my teenage, just to music like this! Now i'm 73 and sometime i am twisting to goood music like now!! Thank's for sharing such music to us!❤🤗🥰

ほんとに古き良きアメリカ、罪のない音楽、いいですナ、実際どうだつたんだろう。😂

I wss born in 1952 i remember these songs the twist was originally recorded by Hank Ballard and the Midnighters.

I thought  the twist came out earlier than 1962.  That is my girl Connie!  Loved her.
