This game was made by a dev team that's paid attention to what quality of life mods people have been adding to their games and that alone is enough to convince me I need it. Thank you, Sarah!

The fact that items stay if they don't fit your inventory has saved me so much lol. I'd go to the general store to buy seeds and then have no room. They stay on the floor. Even overnight and I can go get them in the morning!

I have to admit, I've been wobbling on whether or not I want this game, but a 'save halfway through the day' feature that's built into the game 😭 I don't know why the 'you can only save at the end of the day' is an expectation of the genre, but as someone who has lost days in Stardew to black outs, the ability to save at will is a godsend.

You don’t actually have to buy a shovel and fishing rod. If you’re okay with waiting, you can save the money and just craft one from copper once the mines are open

happy for the tips but even happier that you waited to play the game with us on stream, not skip so far ahead so we feel behind and have everything spoiled for us. we appreciate u considerate queen!! 💓💓

a little tip that goes along with what you said: characters will often mention items in relation with themselves or other characters they believe might like a gift.

however, only the items mentioned in PINK are liked/loved items for themselves or others.

items mentioned in YELLOW are simply mentioned conversationally.

(i am looking at you, March. what were you thinking, mentioning the Magma Beetle? hm?)

One of my first "wish I knew"s was wishing I had known about the blueberries for the picking on the East side!

If this game somehow ever got voice acting, I'd totally nominate you for Celine.

THANK YOU I have been desperately wondering how to throw items out of my inventory without just trashing them. Also helpful to know that fishing and ranching are unlocked from vendors and not quests. I was just kicking my feet waiting for Hayden to come galloping in on horseback to offer me a chicken 😂

I just hope they add an option to make the days pass by slower 😅❤

@leusinia96 2 years ago

I hope the dropped itens were on purpose and not a bug. It really comes in handy. Same about the never ending water supply from the watering can ❤

Fun fact! The creators of FoM are the same folks who created Pusheen.

Acquiring Tools Note: You can optionally craft the rod and shovel after getting copper in the mines instead of buying

Here's something I learned. Fishing takes a ton of stamina. Unless you do it with only 1 stamina, then it just takes that one... Meaning you can eat a wild berry, fish, eat another berry, fish, repeat.

It'll probably be changed, but it currently works.

@LucySmit-t9z 1 year ago

for the fishing rod, you don’t have to buy it, once you’ve opened the mines and get some ores you can make your own fishing rod instead of losing tesserae. I did it and it didn’t really affect me that i couldn’t fish for a few days🤷🏼‍♀️

the only thing abt the birthday I dont like is that ppl born on 29-31 days of the month will have to choose a new random birthday😅

50 seconds in and I've already learned something new bc I didn't realize we could have multiple preset outfits??? Oh my god??? 🥺🖤

@FlorawishFae 2 years ago

I have 32 hours in the game and I still didn't know about the "lock chest" option thank you omg

@EdvardFlo 1 year ago (edited)

The "use tool repeated" and changing the scroll direction options feels wayyy better. TYSM

@charlied2272 2 years ago

omg I didn't know the pickaxe could be used for dig spots. I'm near the end of my first winter and have been carrying around my shovel for them all this time

I'm surprised to be enjoying the faster paced days of this game. So many great characters and I can't wait to see how this game continues to develop through early access!
