1:39 no joke, I also thought they were carrots. I thought it was 2 carrots on top of a rock. It didn't make sense to me why there would be 2 carrots on top of a rock, but I definitely thought that's what it was. So you are not alone! 😂

The embroidery ones weren't looking like anything to me until the zigzig-y outlines. It's one of those "trust the process" techniques that I don't think I have the patience to pull off.

"A few months ago" What do you mean it wasn't just the other week!? Time is so funky...

I thought they were carrots at first too and then realized they were rocks, but if I was coloring it I would have done them as the carrots as I think that would have been cuter. It's neat to see how both of these techniques are achieved, but neither are for me. The glitches in printed items always drive me nuts so I wouldn't get any joy from creating one myself, and the embroidery method is just a lot of work when the purpose of my coloring is to relax. This video did inspire me to order a color swatch book though - that will definitely come in handy for me!

12:51 Always love another new Rose Requin upload to remind me that we are somehow mysteriously handwriting twins lol

EDIT: Ooh the glitch art effect is my actual favorite tho!

I love the embroidery technique, but honestly I think I’m too lazy to try it! Also, I can’t unsee the carrots in the first picture. 😆

I saw carrots on a rock, too!

Im not big on some social platforms, so I've never seen this embroidery colouring technique before.
I love it! Definitely want to give a go. It looks so good.
