Welcome to a brand new series on the channel! You've seen X, working alongside me on our projects. Now, it's time for her to take the lead in her very own show: Farm Secrets with X!
Join us for the very first episode as X takes on the mission of building our dream permaculture farm here in Thailand, starting with one of the most beautiful and symbolic flowers—the lotus.
In this video, X's journey begins in a neighbor's field, wading through the mud to gather the perfect red lotus plants. She’ll share her secrets on how to plant them in our lake, care for them so they thrive, and explain the vital role they play in our permaculture farm's ecosystem.
You'll also get a little tour of the farm and meet some of our adorable residents, including the baby ducks, turkeys and cats!
This series is more than just about farming; it's about a new beginning and building a sustainable paradise from the ground up. It's a journey of beauty, peace, and abundance, and we're so excited to share it all with you, with X as our guide.
As this is the first episode starring X, your feedback and support will mean the world to her. Please leave a comment below to let her know what you enjoyed, and what you'd love to see in future videos! Should she do a full farm tour next? Or maybe cook a traditional Thai meal with our ingredients?
Thank you so much for watching and for supporting X in this incredible new adventure!

We also forgot to mention many of the benefits such as providing shade which can reduce algae buildup, filtering the water, and both the stems and the flowers are edible.
The stems are delicious stir fried. The flowers can be used in things like papaya salad.
We planted these quite shallow. If you plant them deeper, obviously the stems will be longer, meaning more food!
